I got a feeling most of the top schools past because of his history or we wouldn’t be in the conversation, but I’m all for talking him, but skeptical he makes it through a season if he comes here.

It’s not that hard to kick a player off the team. It is really hard to get Elite talent.

Agree. If he gets his act together, the returns for UT would be enormous. If he becomes a problem and starts to impact the team negatively, I'm sure Pruitt will cut him loose before things get too out of hand. If you're going to take a chance on a potential character issue, you do it with a 5 star talent like this kid.

I am no insider, but that is the general impression. The latest coach issue arose after ESD. I honestly think Evans will end up at some random place not even on the radar now. With the portal, you just cannot waste any of the 25 that you get. Conduct, test and interloping family may be too much in combination. I would chance it given his tape and performance at the recent all-star event, but what do I know.

The UT fans who are still ardent in their support here in 2020 are a pretty hardy lot. The last 10 years have bled most of the weakest out of our fanbase, we may fuss with each other like cats and dogs sometimes but faint of heart most are not. Oddly it's the teams have had the most success in recent years who seem to have the worst hand ringers, those two UGA boards, Dawgnation and Dawgs 247 are incredibly emo and seem to go into meltdown at the slightest bad news.

Sure, we’ll be okay, but players like Zach Evans aren’t “everywhere”. He’s the 6th highest rated RB since the recruiting services began. He’d be an instant impact player.

They might be everywhere but not in Knoxville. For some reason, we just can't seem to "sway" that difference maker at RB. We've got a shot with this kid. He's been compared to Adrian Peterson in terms of talent. Those don't come around very often.
