6a TX right? Baily was 5A GA?....eihter way, both realtively high divisions in two football rich states.

i know bailey played good competition at marietta and i'm no expert on salter's HS class, but i'm gonna go out on a limb say it's probably comparable to bailey's.....

Yes, Brown played for Parkview. I think it may have been in the playoffs? Yeah..Atlanta area stays loaded. I'm sure even in 4A and 5A the area schools have a lot of really good competition.

yeah, it was the playoffs. and yes, i think there's good players littered across the divisions in GA. but that 6 and 7A class is the one i was thinking of.....

You take a guy like Reggie Grimes who has all the tools and zero production and they drool. But this kid has all the tools and impressive production and Rivals says we'll have to wait and see.

They're 6A, highest classification in Texas. So-so district schedule but play top rated in state teams for out of conference. They finished the regular season ranked #15 in the state. Total of 3 losses to two teams, both higher ranked in state (#3, #14).

Whoever came up with their ranking scale was on drugs. Wth does a 5.4 or 5.7 even mean? Why is a 6.0 or 6.1 a 5 star?!? 0-100 makes sense. Rivals makes no sense.

Also, they don't have national rankings outside the top 250, why? There can be like 20 guys in Texas all ranked a 5.7. They are ranked in some order in Texas, but not nationally. And how is one 5.7 above another 5.7? Shiz is so stupid.

What I find particularly amusing is that they cap their scores at 6.1.

Couldnt stop at a whole number? Really needed that .1 extra to make your scores work?

They should have at least tied it to the star system. Like 5.0 is the highest rating and that's a 5 star. 4.9s are the highest 4 stars, and so forth. They could even expand it like 247 does, and so you would be able to see that Player X at 4.904 is below Player Y because Ys score is a 4.952. Even if both are still 4 stars.
