I used to date a pretty smokin girl from Conroe and of course... she was a Texas fan when I met her. Couldn't convince her to switch to the Big Orange (Texans are some proud mofos) so I explained to her that A&M was really her team and that the Longhorns were simply a bunch of limp wrist girly boys. After a few months of my standard water on a rock treatment, she agreed and remains an Aggie to this day. I hate the Texas Longhorns. The 247 A&M board sucks. Bunch of dumbasses in there (and I’m an Aggie).
Texags is the main website most reasonable Aggies go to. There are of course some jack holes on there, but they are mostly reasonable.
So u turned a Texas fan into an A&M fan ? Impressive, maybe even more impressive than turning/hooking up with a hot lesbianI used to date a pretty smokin girl from Conroe and of course... she was a Texas fan when I met her. Water boarding is illegal.... you do know that right?I used to date a pretty smokin girl from Conroe and of course... she was a Texas fan when I met her. Do you not think this is a bit ironic? You take people over the coals for claiming to have inside information but you’ve erroneously assumed that a poster is Bailey’s father bc he has an opinion that suits your agenda? That's his dad. Sounds like he's not a fan of us recruiting other qbs. Maybe you should stay in your lane son.
AND the poster, legit or not, asserted that he wasn’t Bailey’s father.Do you not think this is a bit ironic? You take people over the coals for claiming to have inside information but you’ve erroneously assumed that a poster is Bailey’s father bc he has an opinion that suits your agenda?
Not even trying to pick a fight here but do you see why this isn’t consistent with your past assertions that all insiders are FOS.
Doubt it was Chaney who brought in Fields....much more likely it was Smart, who then completely mismanaged his QB situation last year by forcing Fields into some games and sitting his starting, much better SEC QB. Just a thought/guess.Ehhh what? Chaney brought in Fields and Fromm certainly has some wheels on him too. I think Chaney sees the value in a QB that can take off. Who wouldn't? They are undeniably more valuable, AOTBE.
Fwiw, 247 actually has him listed as a pro-style QB...then again they had JG as a DT QB...from what I've been told he's a pass first QB with the strong ability to run. To me he is Maurer 3.0.
-VQHaynes King was the first quarterback that Jim Chaney saw and offered back in January. In talking to some people familiar with King, he loves the idea of playing for Chaney and Chris Weinke. Getting developed is something that is very important. He will likely take a couple more visits after his Tennessee trip. In a perfect world, we are told King wants to move pretty fast after his visits.
King is a coach’s kid who has been coached hard and had to earn everything he has gotten to this point in his young career.
"My take on Haynes King- this is a low confidence one based on the intel. I think Tennessee has the edge going into these visits. I think he sees an opportunity to go in there and maybe make an instant impact. Tennessee has Jarrett Guarantano on the roster, (JT) Shrout and then (Brian) Maurer. Like you said, they’re bringing in Harrison Bailey. It’s a major need for Tennessee to get that room right and get a guy that can play championship football at the position. I think that he’s already taken one visit there and is going back shows the level of interest that Haynes King has in Tennessee.
"I think with A&M if you’re the Aggies what you’re hoping for here is that on the visit this weekend- that Haynes and his dad, who is his high school coach, really connect with Jimbo Fisher and feel like he could be the next guy who goes and gets that development under Coach Fisher, who’s obviously had as many first rounders as anyone at that position. Where you’re like who cares when he got the offer, I have the ticket to the ride now and this is the best place to achieve my dreams. With A&M that’s the approach with the track record Fisher has.
"Outside of those two, we’re going to see some officials set up if they aren’t already, with Auburn and Duke. I think that those two schools are also in the mix for Haynes. Auburn also has a need at the position. They landed Bo Nix last year, we’ll see what he can do this year and obviously they have (Chayil) Garnett out of Florida committed and would love to add a second in this class to get their numbers right. Duke, I think you just look at David Cutcliffe and what he’s done with quarterbacks his entire career. I think it’s interesting to Haynes and his family. I’m told they’re in the thick of it for him and they’ll take their swing as well.
"But I like Tennessee going into June for Haynes King, who may give those California guys (DJ Uiagalelei and Bryce Young) a run for their money as the number one quarterback in the country when all is said and done. He fits the profile- state champ, threw for 4,000 yards, only 4 interceptions, over 600 yards rushing, champion in discus, also runs the 400 meters, fast as hell, varsity basketball player. He’s got a lot going on."
I think it's more that they are afraid HB doesn't want him at UT."But I like Tennessee going into June for Haynes King, who may give those California guys (DJ Uiagalelei and Bryce Young) a run for their money as the number one quarterback in the country when all is said and done. Anyone who doesn't want this kid at UT is out of their damn mind.
