'27 TX LB Cooper Witten (Oklahoma Commit)

LOL he's going to Oklahoma. Why are kidding ourselves?
Jason has no intentions of being in Norman long term. He wants to coach in the NFL.

Even if Cooper starts out at OU, I’m putting it 51/49 or better he ends up at Tennessee at some stage in his career. Has great relationships here and legacy means more to the family than folks might think.

Can’t blame the kid. To go to the place his dad had just been hired? No brainer for the kid and be with his dad on campus ? We all saw this coming when his dad was hired. Maybe at some point, he transfers here if it doesn’t work out or his father moves on. Either way, we’ll be fine.
Closer to home, has his Dad. Yeah, no brainer.

If TN were competing for Titles, may make more sense. But getting boat raced by a BG10 team in the Papa John's Vegetarian Pie and Bread Sticks for $19.99 . Com Bowl doesnt win us any favors.

The axe cuses of 'well we didnt have a' are over. The time to win is now. Earreguardlist of a dorkwad Commissioner who got his tshirt pulled over his head after a swirlie. 9 games to the loser!

Not sure he ever leaned TN, obviously he never will. Vols move on.
Curious question…is Jason’s pic still on the back of the scoreboard/replay screen in the south end zone? A Dale Jones, Chad Clifton, or Eric Berry would look great up there. Just saying…

why is it obvious he never would? OU only became the leader when they hired his dad. previously there wasn't a real frontrunner. plenty of time to change and I am pretty sure someone in his family reached out and told the staff to keep recruiting him. so it doesn't seem like it should be considered locked down.
