Does anybody think that Bey maybe Trolling tOSU? Wouldn't that be insane?

I don't. Don't think he's trolling UT either.

I think he is having a power struggle in his family and using social media as an outlet to affirm or validate his feelings.
Parents push. He really cannot really push back. Goes to the Socials to where he is supported in his views.

For whatever reason decided OSU was too good to turn down. Decided to flip. Doesn't sound like family was all that enamored. Then National Signing day rolls around. Still all OSU. Coach leaves for SFU. Causes doubt. Family pushes back and encourages him to go back to old faithful. He signs with the Vols, regretfully. OSU tampers and encourages him to try and get out of his loi. Maybe offers him even more money. So he allegedly wants out.

Question is, did he accept money, even under the table money. If so, I can see TN holding back until it's been repaid. If not, then I bet Tennessee let's him go.

I’d love to have his talent on the team. But it really seems like he doesn’t want to be here.

The lesson of Nico and Boo should be learned by now. If one of these guys doesn’t want to be here, then stop paying them and release/cut them.

No exceptions. No special days. You can hold players accountable and still be a players coach. Cut out the guys who are cancers and don’t want to be in the program.

why invest in a 17 year old when there are 20 yr old's that are already battle tested. This kid appears not to be ready to commit to anything. Have we not moved on, the coach's probably have but the fans have not.

We don’t have to invest if he does not show up. Do you know anybody that thinks that happens?

Only reason he might push the envelope is if we don’t do anything with his paperwork. Not sure there is any way he can play anywhere else if we just do nothing if there was a valid signature on said paperwork. Can he get paid while sitting out?

I think we will eventually give a release on OUR timetable, not his, not OSU’s. We will not do so in a way to allow talking heads to infer any wrongdoing on our part, like immediately bending to the player out of fear of disclosure of bad conduct. Our AD will drive this train.,, cannot win but WILL NOT lose the high ground, just like we did with Nico.

I agree. I didn't think he had said too much. To be honest, this appears all media and fan driven. It is time to let it play out. I got the feeling it is more OSU fan based BS than Bey. It could be $$$$ under the table as well. If true somebody got butt hurt. Let this play out and we will see.

He's still actively trying to get the kid to come here.

One thing he could state. "he has not requested a release", or "He has been given a release" or "We have talked". CJH is not going to actively try to get the kid if he has discussed the situation and knows Bey's intent. LOI is a bird in hand anyway. No need to spin it.

There are too many other Big Fish in the portal and available to make up for Bey who we did not expect to be here anyway. We have already signed in this class 2 excellent WRs and Bey was gravy.
The quietness may involve tampering, but all this is speculation and time will tell by Bey's actions or other factors coming to light. So sit tight.
