Even if Shaq were healthy he would not be starting; he only weighs like a buck 35 or something. Not what you want against an option team.

if shaq wasn't hurt during camp that kid would have been starting..he has played in the sec before as a true freshman at Georgia.. started at Louisville on those top defenses and all they ran was press man cov..a lot of times people on this site don't understand what type of player shaq is..

Glad to see all the expert opinions, we're just that opinions. Happy for CFA, didn't think he would be 4th string, like everyone was reporting. I know it's only the first game, but at least he will get his shot, hope he makes the most of it.

Aren't you one of the folks who were swearing a few weeks ago that Shy would definitely red shirt this year, absolutely for sure? :)

No - I've been saying that I don't expect him to be a big contributor this year, or for however long he is at Tennessee, because of the severity of the injuries.

so with DR out, that means we should see Kendrick and Tatum at the OT spots i'd assume.

i'm a little excited about the WR's. that's what could be a good group.

i guess a little surprised no tim jordan given all the praise. CFA still not sure? and chandler? still has the look of a 1 horse show at RB.

the DL will be ok if they stay healthy.

LB is still the big worry spot for me. thought Sapp would be further along. hopefully seeing Bates' name up there is because he's finally "got it", and worthy of being in the rotation.

and curious about bituli. thought for sure he'd wind up a starter..outside. curious that he's not even an OR in the line up.

Martin and Mosely....both looking for some level of redemption. both getting their chance. Wiggins is hurt, so i don't read all that much in to his spot.

Safety/nickel is potentially the most loaded position we have on this roster.

glad to see cimaglla as an OR at PK. Medley is fine as KO. that he can do.....

Berry and Callaway as the returners....could be exciting, well i know one of them will be.....

I still don't know why they haven't tried Smith at RT. I would more confident with Kendrick/Boulware/Robertson/Jones/Smith than Tatum at RT.

According to Butch, Frosh. kicker will be attempting the long FG's this year; sounds good to me.
