Watch the games from last year. I’m beginning to think you know nothing about football and especially QBs.

Ive never said oh dam he should be playing because we recruited him and he’s a 5*. I’ve said we have the athletes and it’s a shame we don’t have a pure passing Qb on the field. I’ve watched Miltons film and Hookers film. They are who they are and for some reason coach wants to go in that direction. It’s his call and his only...I’m just stating my opinion and think it’s a mistake. But I’m not getting paid he is it’s all on him.

Amen. Now will anyone agree that it’s not 100% the qb? Our WR’s need to step up also?? No
Mention here. They need to help out and accompany the qb

His progressions 1-2-3 maybe 4 throw away or tuck it. Knowing where the safety valve is and throwing to them would be nice.! That 4th quarter td throw if it didn’t happen would’ve been another set back. Because if you look the running back was running down the right side wide open. Saying that he threw that exact pass earlier it was ugly also and incomplete. Not open !!! Standing flat footed had the booth commentators joking about it and laughing! Waiting the last second thinking your arm strength to a Wr. Standing one yard off the line. Wait till we get to the better defensive athletes and see how that works out.!!! Scrambling and the last second drilling a wr. With the ball is ridiculous to expect him to catch alone the sideline facing him that close.! It’s attempting to get 8 positive yards NOT dodgeball!!! Lol if you can’t see the dangers then you will soon!!! I’m not thrilled with his decision making and processing. We’re in trouble with better defenses if they don’t get a better plan to protect him. With check downs, quick slants and hope he starts connecting on the deep balls. That would help him a lot !

Wr. Aren’t always open and aren’t always the prime target. But there are some drops but Milton doesn’t see the middle of the field or isn’t confident there. I’m hoping they have only shown a small mix of the offense and he starts spreading the ball around confidently !

And there ya go,….a little optimism. Stop the knee jerk reactions after week 1!! People!!! We don’t know what qb seees any part of the field yet.

Once thing I did notice at that 2:19 mark is Milton still not moving his feet "in the pocket" like Bailey and Herndon are doing right next to him...BUT, there is a coach (can't tell but it appears to be Heupel) right behind Milton talking him up...I dare say there is correction happening there, which is refreshing.

Nor do you have the experience, education, and life experience. I knew when CJP refused to bench JG that everyone else was ****. It's degrees off ****. That's all this is proving. He's probably a better pure passer. But not any good outside of that

Already the new recruit is being labeled this, and the one behind him and the one behind him and on and on it goes.

Why can't we not pick sides either way and just let these guys develop or not. It's not like anyone has gambling money on it.

The only thing that matters is that the coach isn't married to whoever he makes the starter. It was like pulling old iron nails from oak with Pruitt to get someone else a chance to lose games besides JG. Yet he would bench any other player for the slightest miscue. I don't want either of that in Huepel.

What else does he need to be good at?...lol...I always knew JG was never that good. We we’re screwed having watch that pain.! Your about to watch the same thing. Oh, I already have watched it ! What are you watching and disagreeing about? Experience huh played the game in Tampa,Fl. Educated your right didn’t graduate the only thing you got on me.! Life experience...I’m very business oriented and well too do and I’ll leave it at that.! Yep, life lessons learned experienced and football knowledge in it ! 50 years of the sport kindA does that to you.

I dont know this stuff but purely from that vid, Milton has a fast and powerful release but he does not follow through with it well....almost like trying to score a point in a karate match vs a punch designed to go through the target. I am guessing that affects his accuracy especially in the long ball. Hooker does a better job at that and Bailey looks really smooth, like a golf swing almost. I can see the fascination with someone like Milton as he has the beef to run over defenses (if he decides to) and release speed but I am not sure if they are going to be able to change his mechanics.

Again, I have no idea what is better or who is more accurate at practice, etc but HB's throws just look pretty. I dont know how else to say it but it looks elegant. Milton looks to be pulling them up short from his max strength whereas Bailey seems to be tossing them with whatever strength is needed for the throw with a consistent speed throughout the release. What we can see of Hooker also looks more smooth than Milton. This is a tiny slice of video though so, who knows?
