Ah yes I have a pretty good memory just noticed you posting in all these threads. I can't take Dooley anymore so I don't hate him just want him to go. as for trolls I haven't figured those out yet many think highly of this SBV I just remember the we are getting Shannon thread when I joined then said he was wrong the deal fell through. So I guess we will see

I agree, nothing is for sure until it is official..........and even then, things could change. I would take most of what SBV says as as much truth as you can get from here.

The way I see it, there are two kinds of news:
1) things that are happening/going to happen
2) things that have happened

If you don't like the possibility of being pumped up/ let down, then you should ignore when highly-regarded posters post the first kind.

Personally, I like reading what they say and seeing the eventual outcome on the news.

this is what I'm talking about in my previous post, about hearsay/rumor if not coming from the horses mouth. Dooley himself, during one of his pressers, says Shannon wasn't even approached about the DC job.

Exactly.. I've seen so many "insiders" claim something because enough guys who usually r credible were tweeting it or something... Heck, I'd say a lot of guys saw Jayson Swain tweeting about RS, and thought he couldn't be wrong.. So they went on their boards and claimed it was a done deal, because they have sources, and all that bs that told them so.. Then they get egg on their face when it falls through.. Because the insiders insiders aren't really insiders..

No one ever asked Dooley to win a national title. We simply want him to be able to win more SEC games than Lane Kiffin did (and then go from there).

We're still waiting. They're tied at 4.

Most good teams are undefeated going into conference play. We had a chance to impact their records and failed to do it.

Well, I do think it was more than tweets. My guess is that during the Randy Shannon flustercluck, the true insiders were deliberately feeding disinformation in order to keep a massive cloud of confusion floating over the whole program, but hey, that's just my guess. :dance2:

But I do try to keep the posters here who claim inside authority into two different groups: those whose uncle has a friend who knows a bartender who told a waitress whose roommate said that maybe someone's toe is hurt, vs those who do know actual employees in the AD who do occasionally leak true info.

The trick is distinguishing between the two. :whistling:

U know what?... I can go with this.. I used to have a lot of fun speculating.. Ill let ppl come to their own opinions, and just enjoy the ride.. Wasn't long ago I was on the other side of my stance on insiders now, and it was fun to believe..

If everything was fact based on here, no one would argue about anything. I enjoy the debates, even though sometimes people get too overzealous with selling their side.

Lol... Have u seen our conference and schedule? Winnin in this league means playing for a national title... That's the thing.. I think if CDD does go elsewhere, he could be successful in another conference..

This is definitely one of the toughest jobs in the country.. No doubt.
