Brilliant: Christopher Steele Admits He Used Random Internet Posters As Trump Dossier Sources

According to deposition transcripts released this week, Steele said last year he used a 2009 report he found on CNN’s iReport website and said he wasn’t aware that submissions to that site are posted by members of the public and are not checked for accuracy.

A web archive from July 29, 2009 shows that CNN described the site in this manner: “iReport.com is a user-generated site. That means the stories submitted by users are not edited, fact-checked, or screened before they post.”
You’d think a super-spy like Steele, who’ve I’ve been assured is just a virtuous defender of freedom, would understand the need to at least attempt to verify things he finds on the internet. Apparently not though, as he admits in the deposition that he didn’t even know iReport was essentially a message board.

Are you claiming you’ve never made that hand gesture before?

This symbol was being sold as a fake news left wing lunacy by many posters on here when previously discussed. Why are you trying to give this gester cover as if everyone is doing it?

It is fake news. This killer is a troll who’s looking for attention. But have you never made this sign before?

I have. I’ve hit 3s. I’ve told people I’m okay. I’ve used it as an excuse to punch friends

It is curious why they are so desperate to cover.

You keep asking everyone that so I will say no, I have never made a white power sign. I guess that just means you are closer to shooting up a church than I am.

This guy is not playing basketball, he is not OK, and he is in handcuffs so he is not going to punch a friend.

How old are you anyway?

Old enough to have played basketball, have friends to punch, and told people I was okay in the past. No one is claiming he’s doing any of those things.

He’s trolling. That’s why he put out around 80 pages were he talks about everything from Spyro the dragon to his love of communism.

He’s seeking attention and you’re giving it to him. It doesn’t mean that sign itself is racist in anyway.

It's just an indicator of where one should be placed on the racist scale. I can see a muslim playing basketball and saying allahu akbar after nailing the game winner.

This is a real screenshot I took from the other 98.

Here. Read the “negative connotations” section.

OK gesture - Wikipedia

Has the simple thumb-and-forefinger 'OK' hand gesture become a common white supremacist hand sign? Not quite, but it has become a popular gesture used by people across several segments of the right and far right—including some actual white supremacists—who generally use it to trigger reactions. [...] Only if the gesture occurs in context with other clear indicators of white supremacy can one draw that conclusion.[38

I would call killing 50 Muslims in the name of white supremacy a clear indicator.
I would say that dirtbag has already confirmed he’s a white supremest. However this particular tiff started with EL doing what she does and taking things out of context RE the Kavanaugh assistant shade. She just can’t seem to let that appointment go, poor lady. 😥

Are you under the theory that the jesture and white power connotation was started by internet trolls? If so that would mean using the gesture by a White Nationalist actually legitimizes the white power connotation, thus making it a gesture to symbolize White Nationalism. Don't be an idiot.
