TrumPutinGate

Dude has already entered a plea. Manafort has been sentenced. So he’s implicated somebody else and they need him for that?

Or do you think Barr is in on it?

@DC_Vol same question.
I have no idea. I was wondering if you were referencing the Flynn cooperation completion. But I’m guessing Gates is telling them everything he can to minimize his exposure to buttsex central.

Edit: and the obligatory “nothing Gates or Manafort was charged with had anything to do with Trump Russia collusion”.😬

What was Gates’s conspiracy against the US charge about? I honestly can’t remember.

How many Trump appointees need to affix their stamp this thing before the “witch hunt” song and dance is sung to the same tune as the “we got him now” song and dance?

No where in that reply did I see any connection to Trump and Russia? And again, time frame of offenses relative to association with the campaign counselor?

Here is a summary of the Gates conspiracy charge. Nothing to do with 2016 campaign and it’s the prior finance crimes... again

Why Rick Gates pleaded guilty to "conspiracy against the United States"

The statute, rather, is an extension of the ordinary crime of conspiracy. Basically, Gates has admitted to conspiring to commit offenses against, and to defraud the US government. The offenses involve false statements or misrepresentations of financial and lobbying activity. He is also pleading guilty to a single charge of false statements, but not to other offenses alleged as part of the initial indictment, which should reduce his potential prison sentence.

I don’t think any connection will be ever be made public.

That’s right. I think I’ve read that article before because I felt like the dog that caught the bus when that came out and then it wasn’t that big of a deal.

McCain was fighting for this country until his dying days, great man.

I still remember a time when the left didn’t consider McCain a great (he was a terrible war mongering racist back then). I also remember a time when advocating foreign wars was frowned upon by the left.

I remember these things because I’m older than 10.

Which just goes to show it's never to late to do the right thing. There's hope for you yet.

So he changed his racist ways?

Because obviously you’re not claiming he changed his war mongering ways
It basically boils down to his recognition that Trump was despicable, dangerous, and an embarrassment to all that the US stands for, and his willingness to put decency before party loyalty.

It's not a white power sign. It's just what the Kavanaugh assistant did at his confirmation hearing

Question .. have you ever flashed that” white power sign “ at somebody or at all ? Come on you can admit it . I’ll go first , I’ve flashed that sign more time than I can count . Your turn

I’ve hit 3s. I’ve told people I’m okay. I’ve ever tried to get free punches on my friends before. Guess I’m a nazi

So war mongering and racism is cool as long as you don’t like trump?
Very few have perfectly aligned beliefs and priorities. Plus I always placed McCain way below Trump on the racist continuum and way above Trump on the national defense continuum.
