TrumPutinGate

It's very cute that you think Putin a populist.

He's as populist as I am.

The difference between he and me, besides the obvious, is that he wants you to actually believe this nonsense.

I wasn't aware that Putin wasn't all about Russia. He's a globalist corporatist? I learned something new today.

The other difference is that Putin is doing more to save the west by fighting the globalist and Islam, which are the two biggest threats to the nation-state and the west.

It's funny that since this all started, your argument hasn't changed. You're making the "If you don't believe Trump is literally Hitler, you are unamerican." It's nice to see something as consistent as Purdue Football.

What makes the west the west is Captialism, Freedom of Speech, and Property Rights. Is Putin destroying these to?

As I alluded to earlier, this is about what I expect from a self-described "populist libertarian."

Just absolute head in rectum.

You mean multinational corporations?

That's some of it. It's more like elite power players who want to blur all the nations into a single conglomerate.

The best way to take out massive business is to let the competition chip away at their market shares. Huge Multinational Businesses with little to no competition is not good.

One wonders who Bahrara might have been investigating in NYC.

Bharara prosecuted and got convicted a Russian mobster who ran the largest NYC illegal gambling ring from inside of Trump Towers. Bharara also prosecuted and got convicted a Russian who did arms & drug deals for Igor Sechin, CEO of the Russian oil co in the Steele dossier and one of two Russian Carter Page met on his trip to Moscow.

Keep the insults coming. :)

I'm sure on a personal level you're a nice guy, but the ideology you represent, this "populist libertarianism," which is what I think Bannon means when he says he's a "Leninist," is incredibly dangerous.

You see it as people getting rid of institutions and corruption; I see it as dimwits, who have no clue what they're doing, sending us into mass chaos and anarchy, which is far more dangerous than some corrupt institutions.

Ideology like yours will get people killed on a massive scale, even though this is probably not your intention.

In short, it is an incredibly toxic naivete.

I've seen some analysts saying this may be why Bharara forced his firing, rather than resigning. If it comes to light that Trump fired someone potentially investigating him, then it's another swift boot (out of many) kicking that sorry rascal out the WH doors in into the federal pen.

McCain told Jake Tapper this morning that he expects "more shoes to drop" and questioned the GOP platform shift to a more pro-Russia stance.

We've come a long way since Friday, when golfballs' non-sourced article told us "nothing to see here; just move along now."

This thread is one tough cookie.

You know, I was just thinking, your "ObamaGate" threads of the world come and go; get hot a little while then extinguish.

But TrumPutin Gate thread just keeps rolling right along.

Makes you wonder why.

Wonder why? It's obvious why. We have a batshizz crazy member and his little fluffier followers keeping it rolling.

Fock John McCain.

Per usual, the typical suspects come in to poop all over a perfectly legitimate government investigation, all while questioning the sanity - not of themselves - but of those demanding action.

I'll give Piglet88 some credit though: he at least voted for an investigation into Russian interference and Trump-Russia ties in my poll thread. Why he continues to crap all over this thread, I have no clue.

I think he's a confused individual.

Just now heard McCain's exact statement on Tapper's program.

It was "a lot more shoes to drop from this centipede."

That's a lot of shoes.

I think he's right. We're only in the beginning of this morass.

Patience and courage.

That "POS," as one sadly confused poster recently referred to him, may very well be one of the few men to save this republic.

That man is one of the reasons we are in the mess we are in. He's not saving anything.

The more I read on this, the more I tend to think that Stone and Flynn are the two links that may take Trump down. Reading through those pieces of trash timelines is just incredible. I guarantee you that, if granted immunity, both will sell out Dear Leader in a second. Just the types of trash they are.

How Flynn, in particular, got as high in the military as he did is frightening.

As I've said before, I don't expect anything overtly suggesting Trump is their agent. More that he has deep financial ties to them.

And if so, had Trump just said so he'd probably be okay. But as usual he just flat denies ANY connection whatsoever. He has made tgay denial now a half a dozen times.

That will be hidden undoing if there are banking and finance ties-- his own defense of his own massive ego.

Come on LG, don't join VPs circle jerk of unbridled hate. Even you are better than that.

You're a neoconservative. That's just as bad as being a socialist. You want to keep the mass breaucracy that is a plague to our country?

And you're talking about freedom and all when your kind supported the Patriot Act and NDAA.

Neocons are the cancer of the conservative movement.

Yes, but this all predated Trump's initial decision to retain Bharara.

The issue is what, if anything, made him change his mind last week.
