TrumPutinGate

Saving judgment about the validity for more information to come out.

We already talked about this. FBI Counter-Intelligence had a FISA warrant for 4 individuals on the Trunp campaign and had a FISA meta data warrant for the servers inside Trump tower. It was all legal. And approved by a judge on the FISA Court.

And you don't see the inherent dangers in someone eavesdropping on the individuals involved in a Presidential campaign and calling it "security"?

Put aside your Trump hatred for a moment and think about the precedent this could set.

I don't recall seeing it but I do remember the warrants for the servers that were communicating with a Russian bank.

Well when British Intelligence asked the FBI if they knew that Carter Page (who at the time was working on the Trump campaign) was in Moscow meeting with Igor Sechin and Igor Diveykin (Igor Diveykin is the deputy chief for internal policy for Putin). Then Paul Manafort's name pops up in a ledger in Ukraine with $12.5 million next to it paid to him by a Russia supporting party that was funded in part by the Russian GRU. And let not forget that Manafort had contact with a Russian GRU agent by the name of Konstantin Kilimnik. I see lots of reasons why the warrants were needed.

Donny is in rare form this morning.

Take heart, countrymen. We're one day closer to having that traitor scum dragged out of the White House in handcuffs and thrown in jail for the rest of his miserable life.

And you know what? He's so clearly insane, he may not even have any idea that what he has done is a crime punishable by life in prison.

This thread's wall of fame (so far).

This entire time the thing that has most baffled me is their brazenness. Basically, how did they seriously think they would get away with this? This many of them this deep in it with the Kremlin?

Well, that Anderson Cooper interview of Carter Page last night finally provided me the answer: there's simply nothing upstairs in any of these individuals. They are the most incompetent bunch of imbeciles we've ever seen associated with any White House. Mobster wannabes but without a good mobster's mind for furtive prowess.

Half of America has been conditioned to believe whatever the right throws at them. Hiding in plain sight behind a bunch of lies.

Please don't confuse "the right" with this treasonous, relativistic bunch of pond scum, but, yes, you are correct.

Correct. I should have said half of America gravitate to information or "alt-facts" that reaffirm their beliefs and not form beliefs based on factual information.

The meltdown by the Twitter in Chief is getting comical. He started the week on such a high, he's ending it by acting like a mental patient wearing a tin foil hat.... haha

You know, guys, I've now had several weeks to reflect upon Ras's assessment of this thread as "the most irresponsible in VolNation history."

I now think he's correct; we should just shut this thread down and move on. In fact, the FBI and all pertinent investigative agencies and committees should stop their investigations as well.

I apologize for behaving so irresponsibly, and I now give my whole-hearted, patriotic support for our dear president, a totally non-colluding, non-conspiring (with one of our greatest enemy's intelligence services to commit a domestic coup) friend of the American people.

I only hope to be forgiven one day by his mercy.

How long do you think this investigation will drag out? I would say the easy work is done and now they are just trying to follow the money.

If it reaches that point, the investigations and pertinent hearings (and inevitable trials) will likely last months, if not a year or two.

Here's the kicker though: I'm not convinced it reaches that point. I think it's so bad and that Donny will go so off the rails (in an attempt to stir up his loyalists to the point of violence to defend him when it looks likely the knives are finally going to be after him) that this may likely end before the summer. In this scenario, I'm calling it likely to end before the last day of April, partially because I think it will get that serious that quickly but partially because it just so happens to fit my "Berlin, April 1945" analogy. Although, now that I think about it further, that analogy would mean it would end in May.
