I made my point.....Hitler's and Stalin's evil was grounded in nationalistic/racial superiority..........nothing else was much of a factor.

Wrong . It had everything to do with pure power and control . Stalin killed any and everyone , nationalistic views as well as being paranoid / racist plays a part but they are vehicles to accomplish what the person wanting to be , the supreme leader . Being batsh!t crazy also plays a part .

Being batshit crazy is a huge part and the one absolutely essential ingredient. Couple that with an obsessive desire for power and control and you have a deadly toxic combination; which is why it is paramount that societies avoid placing such a person in power, and so shocking when they actually do. That's why I've said several times that the Trump fiasco has helped me better understand, at least a little bit, previously incomprehensible events in history.

It’s not the Trumps of the world that are the scary people , you missed pointing out one very important thing it’s the great orators that charm and has carisma that are the ones that get sheeple to follow them over the cliff . That’s why I always found it laughable when CNN people and morning Joe people compared him to Hitler or Stalin . Trump is no great orator and he doesn’t have the cariama to get heard to follow him . Obama However was , he just had to spend the first 4 years dealing with other things and ran out of time .

No the reason was to make sure the party stayed in power ( it’s always the reason ) and Hillary took her turn like was promised to her . Hills just didn’t live up to her end and got lazy .

They weren't spying because he was an adversary, they were spying because he was suspected of colluding with a foreign adversary. Kind of a big difference.
