Manafort to be sentenced in his 1st case. He faces 24 years in prison in this case.

Trump has called Manafort a brave man and praised him highly. For John McCain he only had words like this: “He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” Even knowing McCain was tortured and refused early release because his fellow captives were not being released also.

This is our leader. All red(ass)hats should be proud.

1. He’s an idiot. I doubt he knew.
2. It’s even worse considering Trump is a draft dodger making those statements.

It may have not been PC but it was factual. McCain was at the very bottom of his class, crashed multiple times, and was wrongly put in postitions he didn’t deserve.

McCain only crashed 3 times and 1 was due to engine failure, 1 was his fault and the last was the anti-air missile that shot him down. Yea McCain was at the bottom of his class at Navy so what??? And the only position that McCain ever commanded that was ever questioned was when he commanded VA-174 and the issue wasn't his abilities it was the fact that he had too much rank to be in that position.

Show of hands: who had their outrage needle

You’re right. Joking or being glib about sexual assault is never ok.

“Roger Stone must also worry that if he goes there — you know, he’s seen as something of a dandy — will he be physically safe? Will he be subject to rape?” David Gergen said on CNN Tuesday afternoon. “I mean, there must be a lot of things are going through his mind.”

I don't think there was any joking, exactly, in this case. More like someone trying to get into Stone's head. It's anyone's guess why the fixation on potential sexual violation.

If I cared enough, I'd pore over the PF to find how often this comes up along with the discussion of potential prison sentences, but I really don't.
