TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

When all democrats resign, or arrested, then Nunes can resign. AAll demos must leave their positions all over the US first.

The tribalism is strong with this one.

When presented with facts that implicate Nunez in a "obvious to a toddler" conflict of interest, the default is to resort to whataboutisims.

This thread didn't disappoint.

If you are going to hate on the guy, at least get his name right. It's Nunes.

You have to be yanking everyone's chain. Nobody but an idiot would believe that.

It is well settled that Putin wanted Trump to win and that as a result he tasked Russian intelligence with working to make that happen. They did. He won.

Whether it caused him to win is open to debate. But given that 70,000 votes decided it, it is reasonable to believe it likely that Trump won due to Russian interference. Not provable. But likely given all available info.

Do you have a hat that says "alternative facts" or is it just a principle you blindly live by?

😎Come on Septic. So, are you don’t like any republicans at all? We can debate cleanly, can’t we? Is that what we’re here for?? 🥶🥶🥶

There wasn’t any Russian interference. Come on...even you know that, don’t you? Come on lawgator now. Where do you get this at?

Developments today warrant a clean break and the third installment. I've labeled it the beginning of the end because I believe that we are seeing now the collision of the facts and the personalities which will culminate in charges against Donald Trump and others. Money laundering, bribery, obstruction, conspiracy. Or some combination thereof.

So, today ...

It has emerged that as Bannon testified to the House committee, his lawyer would go outside and call the WH and tell them what was asked. He then went back in to tell Bannon not to answer.

A couple of days ago, Lewandowski said that he would answer all questions. When he got there, however, he would not answer anything post-campaign.

When asked if he had spoken to Trump in the prior 24 hours? He refused to answer.

As I say, this is the beginning of the end of this saga. its almost over.

These threads are aging well.

Spy Court Sidelines FBI Agents Who Wiretapped Carter Page

FBI agents involved in the process of wiretapping Carter Page were barred Wednesday from taking part in other investigations involving surveillance warrants while they are under disciplinary or criminal review.

The order, from Judge James Boasberg, who presides over the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), is the latest fallout from a Justice Department watchdog’s report on FBI and Justice Department abuses of the surveillance process against Page. (RELATED: FISA Judge Blasts FBI For Providing False Information About Carter Page)

“There is thus little doubt that the government breached its duty of candor to the Court with respect to those applications,” Boasberg wrote.

“FBI personnel under disciplinary review in relation to their work on FISA applications accordingly should not participate in drafting, verifying, reviewing, or submitting such applications to the Court while the review is pending,” the judge said.

“The same prohibition applies to any DOJ attorney under disciplinary review, as well as any DOJ or FBI personnel who are the subject of a criminal referral related to their work on FISA applications.”

The Justice Department’s inspector general said in a report released Dec. 9, 2019, that the FBI made 17 “significant” errors and omissions in applications to conduct electronic surveillance against Page.

On Dec. 17, 2019, the FISC ordered the FBI to develop reforms to how the bureau handles and verifies information included in surveillance orders, saying the bureau’s handling of the Page case called into question the validity of surveillance orders in other investigations. In January, the Justice Department conceded that the most recent two FISA orders against Page were invalid.

Most of the errors in the Page investigation involved the FBI withholding information from the FISC that undercut the bureau’s theory that Page was a Russian agent. FBI agents and Justice Department lawyers also failed to tell the FISC about flaws in the Steele dossier, which the FBI cited extensively in its four spy applications against Page.

Do you see the internal inconsistency in what you cited?

Forget Trump for a minute.......

You really don't have a problem with how the Gov. acted in order to get a warrant? You don't have any 4th amendment concerns?
He's over in the Corona thread, whipping himself into a frenzy against Trump and accusing people of "minimizing and deflecting" for no taking part. He then comes in here and minimizes the fact that the FBI was politicized to spy on a presidential campaign, and defrauded the FISA court to do it.

LG is a clown.
