It has emerged that as Bannon testified to the House committee, his lawyer would go outside and call the WH and tell them what was asked. He then went back in to tell Bannon not to answer.

A couple of days ago, Lewandowski said that he would answer all questions. When he got there, however, he would not answer anything post-campaign.

When asked if he had spoken to Trump in the prior 24 hours? He refused to answer.

As I say, this is the beginning of the end of this saga. its almost over.

The fact that the June 9, 2016 meeting took place could be evidence of collusion between Russian operatives and the Trump campaign. The fact that both Donald Trump and Trump Jr. lied about that meeting represents a consciousness of guilt on their part. Why lie if nothing illicit took place?

correct on first bold, incorrect on the second. insert the word could or may and you have a credible statement. by claiming it is a fact that it represents guilt is speculation on your part.

the larger issue is that the meeting is moot in the discussion as Mueller has said there was no collusion or conspiracy and no one was charged with anything with regard to this meeting.

let it go man.

Holy post bump Batman.
I've always said that was my opinion before we had access to the report. I still think there was some shady stuff going down regarding the Trump campaign. Lots of smoke there alluding to conspiracy and obstruction of justice. But there isn't sufficient evidence, per the Mueller Report, regarding conspiracy.

I am sure the FBI never once looked into his financials in all those investigations. Not once did they ever even take the slightest peak. This is a completely new avenue that is absolutely positively a new direction worthy of a real investigation. Not like that sham multiyear Mueller deal.

All of what investigations? The Mueller investigation, as far as I know never looked into his finances unless its part of ongoing investigations by the DOJ redacted in the Mueller report. Is that the case? Do you still use the words witch hunt and hoax to describe it?

He did not have authority to look into Trump's finances. It was strictly limited to dealings during the campaign. Mueller was not investigating who may potentially have financiy leverage over Trump.
