Lol. Really misleading article title. It starts directly in with detailing Manaforts ties not Trumps. Doesn’t attach Trump one bit. At best only speculates Gates got close to some of Trumps inner circle. And towards the end even dropped this little nugget of admission.

The criminal allegations facing Gates and Manafort encompass work they did in the years prior to the 2016 election. Manafort has pleaded not guilty in two federal criminal cases stemming from Mueller's prosecution, one in Washington, DC, and another one in Virginia.

Like I said yesterday the victory lap is beginning on lifting Manafort up to be the big fish caught in this righteous over reach and desperately trying to attach some significance of this directly to Trump.

Here's what I noticed: (1) Mueller didn't need Gates to cooperate to get Manafort, (2) Mueller wanted to get Gates intel on the collusion issue, and (3) Gates is going to do much less jail time than Manafort due to the plea deal. Putting those three together, I'm guessing Gates had some songs to sing on Russian collusion.

Well I saw nothing in the article that supports those statements. Only reference on Gates was admission he didn’t have much Trump access but there was speculation he had Trump inner circle access and thus hoping that would glean something. Outright stated he had nothing to do with the Holy Grail Trump Tower meeting. I guess we’ll know in time if Kush or Junior is indicted and Gates testifies.

But no way Gates is going to land Trump. Didn’t have the access.

Forgot to add the last time hopes were raised about a Trump inner circle person leading to relevant info was Carter Page and the FISA warrants. Now what’s left of that debacle is the FISA warrant itself is rightfully under attack as well as those associated with granting it, no apparent useful information was revealed, and the heinous individual who the gov felt was such a risk that they decided to violate his rights to determine the damage still walks the streets a free man with no expectation for that status to change related to this witch hunt.
