Fox News host hits Giuliani: Dossier isn't why Mueller probe was started

Fox News host Shep Smith on Wednesday fact-checked President Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani after he again claimed that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation started with the so-called Steele dossier.

In an interview on Fox News on Monday, Giuliani claimed that former CIA Director John Brennan brought the dossier to the special counsel's attention, kicking off the more than yearlong investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Giuliani, who often claims Mueller's probe began with the Steele dossier, on Monday said Brennan is the mastermind behind Mueller's investigation

"None of the dossier, to Fox News’s knowledge, has been disproven," Smith added.

President Donald Trump took steps on Wednesday to loosen limits on when the U.S. government can deploy cyber weapons against adversaries, reversing Obama-era guidelines, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

Trump signed an order reversing Presidential Policy Directive 20 that had mapped out an elaborate interagency process before the United States engaged in cyberattacks, the Journal said, citing people familiar with the action.

Good or bad?

Trump must be taking a monumental dump, because he's on a tweet storm bender. Witch hunt this, corrupt FBI that. Something must be coming down soon.

I think he just likes to play with balls ..... be careful
I looked at Rick Wilson's other opinion pieces on the Daily Beast and it appears Trump sodomized his wife and perhaps him as well.
You are always making homophobic cracks. Weird. There's nothing witty about it. Everyone already knows the story of people that persistently do that.

Wonder why we don't see this on CNN or the others?

DOJ's Bruce Ohr wrote Christopher Steele was 'very concerned about Comey's firing -- afraid they will be exposed'

A collection of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr's emails, texts and handwritten notes, reviewed by Fox News, reveals that he was deeply connected to the unverified Steele dossier as well as its author and, during the presidential election campaign, the alleged government surveillance abuses involving a Trump campaign official.

The dossier, which was used by federal officials to justify the surveillance of a top Trump aide, Carter Page, was created by Fusion GPS and paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Ohr wrote that Christopher Steele, the ex-British spy who wrote the salacious dossier, was "very concerned (abt) about [former FBI Director James] Comey's firing -- afraid they will be exposed."

The Ohr documents shed more light on Steele's activities before the presidential election. While Steele shopped the dossier to multiple media outlets, he also appeared to ask Ohr for help with a Russian oligarch -- Oleg Deripaska -- after rumors the U.S. might impose sanctions.

How liberals think there's nothing fishy about this shows just how damn stupid they really are:

The dossier, which was used by federal officials to justify the surveillance of a top Trump aide, Carter Page, was created by Fusion GPS and paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
