TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Unfortunately, is seems as if many of the people making the decision will base it solely on how the Trumpers in their constituency feel.

In the end the people's opinion will dictate the outcome. That's why Trump has relentlessly tried to discredit and mislead. He is smart enough to realize that if he can convince a large enough percentage of his base that it was a "witch hunt" carried out by the biased "deep state" then his quilt doesn't matter.

That’s a cop out and you know it.

Gotta say, 100% agree with Rudy on this one...

“I believe that the Mueller investigation should be investigated, not because necessarily of Mueller, but because of its genesis in this, very, very now, completely, almost illegal and unethical probe, this Russia probe,” Giuliani said during an interview on CNN's "State of Union."

Dud, you said the Trump Tower meeting was evidence of him being in bed with the Russians, isn’t that enough?

He wasn't at the drug deal. The dime bag in this instance would be Jr., Manafort, Kushner wanting to buy drugs (dirt on hillary). They may or may not have got drugs and that is where the investigation is at. It may and may not be evidence but we don't know.

This is some evidence obtained about nature of the meeting:

In full:

Bill browder
Offshore — Cyprus
133m shares
Companies
Not invest — loan
Value in Cyprus as inter
Illici
Active sponsors of RNC
Browder hired Joanna Glover
Tied into Cheney
Russian adoption by American families

This evidence would make Q proud even though we don't know what it means. You can think of it as a clue that may lead to physical evidence against manafort in order to build a case against him in order to get him to flip and gain eyewitness account of the actual meeting. The odds of getting physical evidence about a man that goes out of his way to keep his "hands clean" is remote but just because there is not any physical evidence does not mean that he is innocent. The buck could stop at Manafort and his actions as a foreign agent and that is still a crime worthy of investigating.

You're right thought just because they had a meeting in Trump Tower with russians is not physical evidence of a crime but it still stinks to high heaven. You probably cant smell it though because you are so low.

Trying to keep up. So we're back to Russian collusion now that obstruction is off the table? I think I smell desperation.

They are still investigating obstruction so what makes you say it's "off the table"?

Its a BS response and there is absolutely nothing to back up your claim that it is "off the table".

It’s not illegal to get dirt, much less pay for it like the phony Russian dossier, on a political opponent... doesn’t matter if it’s from Russia or Timbuktu for that matter. So, what’s the problem again with meeting with Russians?

Well, the Rosenstein scathing letter to fire Comey along with the IG report certainly undermines the case for obstruction, not to mention Article 2 of the Constitution...I guess nothing’s ever “off the table” but when you’re at your own goaline down by 3 touchdowns at the 2 minute warning, the fat lady’s pretty much singin’

The IG report just found him officially negligent, grossly insubordinate, and untrustworthy. All three are valid reasons to be fired. And all three undermine any potential testimony against Trump per Trump firing him.

Live in denial all you want, but obstruction charges are off the table.

All i have heard forever is that it's not about collusion, but about obstruction. It's no surprise then that the left are trying to resurrect the collusion narrative again.

It is illegal for the Russians to interfere in our elections and worthy of investigating to see it they had any success. If you look at it that way, they had plenty of success at infiltrating the Trump campaign.

Collusion was never dead contrary to your belief.

Not if you're playing against Butch Jones.

There is nothing new about a political party tilting the scales in favor of the preferred candidate of the party leadership. If Bernie Sanders doesn't like it, he can run in 2020 as the independent that he actually is. Once again, Sanders is NOT a Democrat, he is an independent who caucuses with the Democrats - that's not the same thing.

Now, as far as the Swift Boat ad campaign against Kerry in 2004 was concerned... You had a man (George W. Bush) who didn't serve in the Vietnam War trying to smear the service of a man who did. And that is from the party who is strong on defense and loves our military and foreign war veterans so much? Give me a break.

The party for women, supposedly, champions the killing of one and leaving her killer in party leadership. Give me a break.

What law and statute will be prosecuted?

Would Hillary be under it as well, having paid a foreign spy to gather info from Russian oligarchs against Trump?

There was definitely foreign collusion. There is no doubt Hillary did it. Little reason to believe Trump did.

But again, i don't think either would be prosecuted , as it's not against the law to buy dirt against opponents any more than its against the law to pay for Facebook ads.

The left have gone crazy and are desperate for any shred of a chance to oust Trump.

That's why the obstruction narrative took over collusion. But that's off the table now.

Y'all got nothing. Nothing but tears and an inability to accept defeat.

Going on almost two years of investigating so it’s ab time they **** or get off the pot.

Then put the Hillary campaign in jail, as the dossier was assembled by a British spy and filled by Russians. That's proven collusion, unlike all the unproven guilt by association.

Steele went to the FBI on his own which would make him a FBI informant.

Agreed, Russian’s nor any foreign state actor should interfere illegally. But there’s no evidence (we’re aware of, nor Congress) that the Trump team wittingly engaged in any criminal conspiracy. By the way, what Russian’s ‘infiltrated’ the campaign?

Lets put two year into perspective for investigating a sitting president:

1992
The Whitewater Development Corp is dissolved, leaving Bill and Hillary Clinton with a loss of more than $40,000.

January 1994
Attorney General Janet Reno appoints Robert Fiske Jr. as the independent counsel in charge of investigating financial irregularities in the dealings of the Whitewater property company. The Clintons, and their business partners, James and Susan McDougal, are implicated.

August 1994
Fiske is replaced by the more conservative Kenneth Starr as the independent counsel investigating the Whitewater scandal.

July 29, 1998
President Clinton decides to testify voluntarily before the prosecutor over the allegations that he committed perjury in covering up a sexual affair with Ms Lewinsky.

October 5, 1998
The House Judiciary Committee votes to launch a congressional impeachment inquiry against President Clinton.

October 8, 1998
The House of Representatives vote for impeachment proceedings to begin against Clinton. The House judiciary committee will be given wide powers to draw up detailed charges against Mr Clinton, based on 11 allegations by the independent counsel Kenneth Starr in his report on the Monica Lewinsky affair.

Holy ****! Two separate investigations. Whitewater which was pretty much wrapped up in 2 years and THEN the investigation into his WH shenanigans.

At least 12 had contacts with Russians. I would say that constitutes infiltration.

Put it that way and we are still investigating Russian efforts to undermine our election. Mueller hasn't even started "targeting" Trump yet. So far Muellers investigation into russian efforts has netted 20+ indictments of Russians and Russian entities as well as 4 Americans for being less than honest when asked about Russia's efforts by the FBI.

So far Mueller has done ****, 15 of your 20 indictments are worthless. The others except for 2 were for lying.
