TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

There's some serious domino's you gotta follow here.

Mueller’s got DEEP TIES to the Obama swamp...this is very troubling EVIDENCE of Mueller’s deep and profound conflicts in his investigation of the Trump operation.

Yet more and more coincidences, this whole collusion thing was set-up, it's without a shadow of a doubt.

If this report is accurate, this is very big news. If Cohen had visited Prague, but for innocuous reasons, why not just say so? Why all the categorical denials of ever being in Prague? The Trump team has made Cohen's denial of the Prague trip the centerpiece of its attack on the dossier.

Michael Cohen Prague visit? Why the allegation is so important for Trump - Vox

It would also be one of the most significant developments thus far in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of whether the Trump campaign and the Kremlin worked together to help Trump win the White House. Undercutting Trump’s repeated pronouncements that “there is no evidence of collusion,” it also could ratchet up the stakes if the president tries, as he has intimated he might for months, to order Mueller’s firing.

Mueller has proof Michael Cohen was in Prague, confirming dossier - NY Daily News

Cohen testified to both the House and Senate Intelligence Committees he had never been in Prague in his life. He also said he'd jump off a hi-rise building before ever turning on Trump.
Lying to Congress is a serious crime. Tsk tsk...LOCK HIM UP!

Federal law makes it a crime to "knowingly and willfully" give "materially" false statements to Congress, even if unsworn -- which is not to be confused with the more general crime of perjury for lying under oath. The consequences for either crime are serious: one can face up to five years in prison.

What in the dossier has been proven false? I thought for sure it was debunked.

What in the dossier was confirmed?

That's the only question that matters since the dossier was used as the basis for the FISA warrant.

The evidence for a FISA warrant must be confirmed.

I wonder if this is coming out because it was used to obtain the no knock warrant. Would seem to be relevant for showing that Cohen couldn't be trusted to provide records if subpoenaed.

Lying to Congress is a far better reason to meet the high standards of obtaining a warrant to raid the President's personal attorney than FEC violations or bank and wire fraud. Regardless, Pandora's Box has been opened, all over something so stupid like paying off a porn star. If they've committed crimes and colluded with a foreign adversary, they now have an exponentially easier path to find it.

Ya he may have destroyed everything if subpoenaed.

Wait, who actually did that?

If there’s anything the former FBI director’s book and his first interview about it on Sunday night showed, it’s that Comey continues to defy attempts to pigeonhole or use him. He’s not going to lead Democrats’ charge on collusion, obstruction of justice or impeachment. And he has presented himself as too imperfect a figure — one overly concerned with appearances, politics and ego — even if they wanted him to.

Shortly after Trump fired Comey, former Justice Department official Matthew Miller explained Comey to me this way: “I think he is a man of integrity, but he also thinks of himself very much as a man of integrity and likes the spotlight that highlights that.” Comey’s controversial dual announcements during the 2016 campaign were the clearest evidence of that desire for the spotlight, and after his firing it seemed the next spotlight Comey craved was the one in which he returned the favor by getting Trump fired.

Yet another attorney turns Donald down. Poor little feller... 300+ million people in our country and nobody wants to / can represent him.

Another white collar lawyer turns down Trump - CNNPolitics

"...Molo is only the latest attorney to receive an invitation to help Trump during special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into the 2016 campaign and any possible dealings with Russia. Other lawyers who declined to join Trump's team include former US Solicitor General Ted Olson; Emmet Flood, who's worked for multiple presidents; Robert Bennett, Bill Clinton's attorney in the Paula Jones litigation; and Bob Giuffra, of Sullivan & Cromwell."

Can't blame them. He's an attorney's nightmare. He can't keep his big mouth shut and won't listen because he thinks he knows better than everyone.
