TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Trump's lawyer paid $130,000 of own money to porn star - CNNPolitics

President Donald Trump's personal lawyer said Tuesday that he paid $130,000 of his own money to a porn star who allegedly had a sexual encounter with the President before his time in office.

"In a private transaction in 2016, I used my own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford," Michael Cohen said in a statement. "Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly."
Just weeks before the 2016 election, Cohen reportedly created a private LLC to pay Clifford, otherwise known as Stormy Daniels, following an alleged July 2006 encounter with Trump, The Wall Street Journal reported in January.

Does anyone believe that? Give me a break.

Not even dude, economy rising, wages rising and so are Trumps numbers, your party is doomed..😂

Mmmkay. So you're an election neophite. Midterms are normally brutal for the governing party after the WH flips party. Democrats would have to pitch virtually a perfect game to get control... highly unlikely, but possible given the anti-Trump sentiment and energized voters.

Good news is Democrats will certainly take the House, thereby facilitating impeachment.

Dems may pick up a few seats but they’re not taking either chamber. They have no message and nothing to sell.

The "lock her up" message worked great and you bought that. I think a "lock him up" message might just work.

Nah, people see this “investigation” for what it is and now they have a little more money in their pockets. Besides I didn’t vote for Trump.

That was the point dummy. Guys, please get a clue; you're giving me ulcers.

Your point was that she rigged the primaries? And couldn't win with full coffers? And your point is that that gives you faith that your party will take seats in the mid-term with no money and an exposed media?

You couldn't buy an election, now you expect to win a bunch more that are out of your price range?

Ulcers are the least of your problems if that's the logic you're relying on, Lou. (But if you're not an idiot, and you understand the actual deck stacked against you guys, I can understand the ulcers.)

A vote for either one would have compromised your morals right? Don't buy into the "there is nothing there witch hunt" that they are selling to you now. Three words "Trump Tower meeting".

There is nothing there, it is a witch hunt.

Just use some logic, if Trump was in cahoots with the Russians and a danger to our sovereignty why is Muller the great patriot dragging his feet? This has been going on for over a year now.

Edit:

I don't have morals, I didn't like either so I voted for Jill.

Here we go again. A little monotonous I think.

You provided a link that stated that the DNC was broke and the RNC was rich in response to my "countdown to midterms?" post.

The implication would appear to be that the current riches of the committees would be a major factor in the midterms.

To which I responded that if money determined the results of an election, we would have had a different outcome in the last election.

'69 made some post showing that he obviously misunderstood. The rest has been the typical downward spiral.

The Mueller investigation has not been going on for over a year (more like 9 months). He is fully aware of the implications of this investigation and is methodically insuring that the case is as airtight as possible.

The investigation started before Trump was inaugurated. You think the FBI didn't turn over it's info to Muller?

Yes. It is monotonous. I clearly understood your point, as I pointed out that it was stupid and misapplied. (You seem to be creating an excluded middle between money being a "major factor in the midterms" --which it will, by the way, as it always is-- and what you seem to be arguing for, i.e. "no/little factor in the midterms".)

To avoid the monotony, you can learn to either think before you post, or drop the ugly pride that makes it impossible for you to admit when you're wrong.

Why are Trump's own appointees engaged in a witch hunt against him?

It's like being on the elementary school play ground.

My point is not stupid yours is. Yours is stupid and silly and I pointed it out. Your point is way more stupid because my point was good and not stupid at all. Now that I have shown everyone how stupid your point was and how my point was not stupid maybe you should run off and play on the swings with the other stupid point kids. I think the swing next to '69 is open. All the kids seem to avoid him for some reason.

By the way, I've asked you before, quit sticking out your tongue and throwing rocks; it's beyond creepy.

Deflection.

You say stupid stuff. I point it out with specifics (such as pointing out your specific fallacies). You're still too rigid and prideful, so you deflect.

Next day, same song.

You also lack objectivity. What do you really think about the Trump Tower meeting. What on the earth do you think they really talked about? Adoptions? Sanctions? World dominance? The Election? Get a clue and don't gloss over everything that has come out about that secret meeting with the Russians. If Mueller gets the information and facts right, I don't care if it takes another 2 years.
