Do you really have to ask? Tucker is talking about NY Attorney General (D) Eric Schneiderman's resignation of course. They love to talk about scandals involving the sexual harassment or domestic abuse of women as long as it doesn't involve one of their own employees or their founder. Tucker probably won't even mention this story unless it's to further the 'witch hunt' narrative.

So do some of you just watch CNN, FOX or MSNBC every day and then come on here to report what was said? Do any of you believe any of these "news" networks are giving accurate reports?

Why do some of you all worry or concern yourselves with what goes on in the DC garbage pile? Oh Trump did or said this. Oh no he said this, blah, blah, blah.

I agree with this... it's just strange how much time Fox News devotes to covering sexual harassment/domestic abuse scandals when the accused is either a democrat or a television news personality from another network such as Matt Lauer and Charlie Rose while hardly even mentioning the considerable trouble they have had in their own building with Bill O'Reilly and Roger Ailes. They are in a glass house throwing very big stones.

More accusations have come out against Rose and Brokaw, Ailes is dead like Bills career, it’s a news story and none of the other major networks have even mentioned the dudes a dem. If he were a republican well you know..

In response...a lawyer for Columbus Nova said in a statement the payments to the Trump lawyer were for business consulting work “regarding potential sources of capital and potential investments in real estate and other ventures.”

“Reports today that Viktor Vekselberg used Columbus Nova as a conduit for payments to Michael Cohen are false. The claim that Viktor Vekselberg was involved or provided any funding for Columbus Nova’s engagement of Michael Coehn is patently untrue,” said Columbus Nova’s attorney, Richard Owens of the firm Latham & Watkins.

“Neither Viktor Vekselberg nor anyone else other than Columbus Nova’s owners, were involved in the decision to hire Cohen or provided funding for his engagement.”

In addition - none of the Mueller questions that were leaked refer to this.

Might (or might not be) bad news for Cohen but the turnover to NY and lack of specific questions suggest it's a side show.

I disagree. If Mueller thought the Russians were supplying the cash to pay off SD you don't think there would be some questions about Russian payments to Cohen on the list of questions to ask Trump? Like did you know about this?

Why would you think no questions would involve this situation if Mueller were pursuing it?

Avenatti alleged the $500,000 went into the bank account for Essential Consultants, a shell company that Cohen set up before the election that was used to pay Daniels. Avenatti added that the payments occurred from January to August 2017.

The payments occurred at the same time Cohen was trying to build a consulting and legal business after the election and around the time he left the Trump Organization.

After the inauguration, the firm hired Michael Cohen as a business consultant regarding potential sources of capital and potential investments in real estate and other ventures.
