TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Some serious virtue signaling right here. Bravo.

On this board, I have seen at least 50 different versions of....

"As long as my taxes go down and my 401k goes up, I don't care what he does."

I believe for some people this is a pretty true statement.

You need to believe that for some people this is in no way a true statement.

Call it virtue signaling if you wish; I'll call it a difference in priorities and perspective.

You can have YOUR priorities dictated for you by your feelz, that doesn’t mean YOUR feelz are the paradigm for what’s right for anyone else.

This is where your arguments come off the rails, and where you “rationalize your unreasonability” with X and Y. Life and political policy aren’t classified by independent and dependent variables, like, say, y = mx + b (or any higher order polynomial, etc.).

Political policy is neither static nor existent in a bubble alone. Your crying in no way untangles the Brownian motion, it only leaves you dehydrated.

Everything is moving in the right direction now.

It seems to be some of you guys that are having the problem with evillawyer's comment that he looks beyond his own selfish self-interest.

Some people have more selfish self-interest than others and that leads to differing considerations when placing one's vote. I'm sure we would all agree.

I can't fix the world Luther, therefore I am way more concerned about my wife and myself. I worry about what I can control.

If Hillary would have campaigned on lowering taxes and being pro-business I would have looked beyond my own self interest and voted against her.

I'm not selfish.

Your virtue signaling aside, it could be a question of worldviews. I applaud lower taxes and smaller government,as it leaves me more personal money, and personal choices,to help others as i feel they should be helped. In other words,we may just want to see people helped as much as you, but feel that the government isn't the best way to see that happen, and they waste valuable resources when they take personal finances, wrap them in bureaucracy, and waste them.

Get off your false sense of superiority and recognize what a worldview bigot you're being.

This way it’s not racist and 72 doesn’t get his panties in a bunch

From the picture in Business Insider today, his spray tan is fading and you can tell pretty clearly that he does have rosacea. I still think it's silly for a man his age to use a spray tan but at least I understand why he does it now. He is trying to cover that up.
