TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Trump is reportedly seriously considering firing Sessions again and replacing him with Pruitt from the EPA. If true he obviously would not be forced to recuse himself from the Russian investigation. As such, there's speculation Pruitt would fire Mueller.

Hope this is all BS. Rest assured if this were to pass there would be a constitutional crisis and a complete meltdown from both democrats and independents.

"Aight"

This is all headline fluff to get clicks and viewership.
But, I’m not saying we should totally stand ideal, without addressing the matter.

I still don’t buy into all this ‘who effected’ the election. Meddling? Hell, there’s always been and always will be meddling of some kind, even domesticity to peddle discord or whatever. You’ll never ever contain social media peddling, nor whom all could be doing it or masking it.

Most people listen to the candidates on the issues that concern and effect them. And they talk amongst their local constituents and family. Personally, this is all wayyy blown outta proportion IMO, which don’t mean much.
Most people I know and speak too, are intelligent enough to not rely on the internet, social media, nor the mainstream media.

I agree with most of this, though I think you give the average voter too much credit. I'd wager most don't really scrutinize the candidates. Rather, they vote straight party.

yup which makes Russian interference even less likely.

Not exactly. In any election, it's the minority of independents and swing voters that usually determine the outcome. They're the ones who aren't fully locked into a particular party. Misinformation campaigns can move the needle there.

On top of that, voter turnout can make a difference, so motivating voters can have an effect. That was one of the driving factors in the last election. Still, less than 2/3 of eligible citizens ever vote. Pretty pathetic.

That said, I'm leaning toward the chaos angle with the Russians. There are some far fetched conspiracy theories out there that haven't been corroborated by any of the investigations yet, but the evidence that is there suggests the Russians were trying to spur unrest and widen divisions. Honestly, if Putin can show the Democratic process is flawed here and elsewhere, it will help him hold on to power over his own people.

oh yeah. if Putin meddled, he meddled on both sides. no Way he only plays one side if he really wanted control. and yeah chaos is all he wants, which makes this division on the investigation play right into his fans

Maybe dirty cop Muller will notch this investigation like he did the anthrax investigation. He wasted millions doing that too.

That’s a fair statement , and straight party definitely.
I’m a Republican, but I’d give my vote for a quality 1990’s center Dem or Independent for that matter. Just need to have common sense agenda’s that are more centered.

Agreed.

The following is a huge reason I hate Trump. It's not that he's just a liar like all politicians... It's that he also lacks any moral compass or shame whatsoever. Here's a perfect example below. Not only does Trump admit he simply lies to bolster his own cause, but also that in the face of his own ignorance, he not only fails to seek FACT, but he also BRAGS about the very fact that he LIES under such circumstances.

It reflects a complete lack of intellectual curiosity.

In sum, if you're Trump, when in doubt:

1. Act like you have knowledge when in fact you're an ignorant, pompous A$$;

2. Lie like an ignorant, pompous A$$; then

3. Brag about lying and being an ignorant, pompous A$$.

"...In fundraising speech, Trump says he made up information in meeting with Justin Trudeau

President Trump boasted that he insisted to the Canadian prime minister that the United States runs a trade deficit with its neighbor to the north. But, he said, “I didn’t even know. ... I had no idea"

Lol at the end of the day I love the whole Steele dossier and Russia influence narrative having an impact on EITHER 2016 candidate. You try to blackmail either one of them and one will disappear you while the other just looks you back in the eye and says “yeah...so?” . Too funny

U.S. sanctions Russia for 2016 election interference

The Trump administration on Thursday sanctioned a number of Russian entities for a wide range of behavior that U.S. officials say has sought to disrupt Western governments — including the attempts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

Among the five entities sanctioned by the Treasury Department Thursday is the Internet Research Agency, which was indicted by a grand jury last month as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with Russian efforts. Officials say it's a propaganda outfit that used fake identities to pose as Americans on social media, in order to sew divisiveness during the campaign.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said the new round of sanctions shows that the Trump administration is "confronting and countering malign Russian cyber activity, including their attempted interference in U.S. elections, destructive cyber-attacks, and intrusions targeting critical infrastructure."

He's great, isn't he? He's got my vote again.

I thought you didn't vote for him the first time. I have been giving you too much credit.
I voted for Cruz in the primary, and Trump in the general. He's doing a great job in spite of having both parties and the media against him.

The fact that he’s gotten so much done with so little support is amazing. I didn’t think he could do it.

I think he should take a break in 2018 and let’s fire up some good old fashioned which hunts. McCabe (after he retires in a week), Comey, Muller for previous incompetence at FBI, DNC execs, and of course... Hillary!

This could be a really fun year!

One significant subtext of the new and long overdue sanctions is that Trump’s administration took the names provided by Mueller and used them as targets. Hard to now argue the investigation is a “hoax” or “witch hunt” if you based sanctions policy off of it.

Translation: It's true. All of it. The forthcoming obstruction charges, alone, are enough to end Trump. Obviously, there may be far more.

Enjoy the Dotard while you can, cause it's all gonna end in a huge trainwreck.

Again, how did he obstruct justice?
