Agreed, though everyone's Twitter does.

For the most part, yes. Although I get a kick out of Ryan Reynolds twitter feed about his daughter...

Here's a strange idea... How about everyone start treating one another with dignity and respect and stop excusing behavior because it's "not quite as bad" as whomever you want to compare yourself to?

Making excuses about the size of an ... you are is still admitting that you're an ...

Did he grope you?

No.

If he had, we would not be having this conversation.

I agree!

I say we start with the President-elect. His history of treating people with dignity and respect," however, is appalling.

Did Trumps pastor spew hate? Did Trump hang out with known terrorist?

His history? Yeah, we know his history. That can't be said for Obama. Nobody knew his past history did they? Yet you voted for him.

It was inappropriate.

Ironiclly, it makes them look small and petty while Pence looks like the bigger/better man.

I would say this was playing to their audience. I doubt many of the audience disliked the comments; and as gcb pointed out they weren't bad comments. they didn't go after his history, which they could have; they asked people not to boo him, they could have egged it on or not said anything; they showed hope that he would change and be a good politician/person, instead of instantly turning to hate or saying "Not my VP".

way overblown.

and he did have an excellent response

Mike Pence: 'I wasn't offended' by message of 'Hamilton' cast - CNNPolitics.com

"When we arrived we heard a few boos, and we heard some cheers," he said, "I nudged my kids and reminded them that is what freedom sounds like."

he is a public figure, he can expect to be addressed in public.

"I do want to say that the basic element, the center of that message is one I want to address and that is I know this is a very disappointing time for people that did not see their candidate win in this national election," Pence said.
"I know this is a very anxious time for some people. I just want to reassure people what President-elect Donald Trump said on election night -- he absolutely meant from the bottom of his heart," he said.

we will see. and I agree Trump is an idiot.

Well, to keep things honest, it was Pence that was booed, correct? Who did he grab? Or was the meme just a stupid deflection?

This was the equivelant of going to McDonalds and having the person behind the counter lecture you in an accusatory manner that has nothing to do with a Big Mac. Completely unprofessional and, if the the producer of the show doesn't chastise the troop for unprofessionalism, the owner of the theatre needs to.

They looked petty. As PKT said, it was a great opportunity for Pence to walk out of it as the bigger person.
