Teams always make mistakes in football and other teams must take advantage of them. This is such a common occurrence that it is literally what Neyland's first 2 maxims are about.

1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.

2. Play for and make the breaks, and when one comes your way - SCORE.

Anyone remember UCLA in 2008. We get 4 int in the 1st half and lose. What about UF 2013 or 2014? We get tons of turnovers in those games and lose. Team 120 did the right thing in a close game. Va Tech made mistakes and we made them pay.

I'd rather see a "dumb" trophy ceremony with us as the winners than the same with us as the losers

I am liking your post. I hope you don't think that this positive feedback means you can stop making quality posts like this. In general, I suspect that all humans who are not me do not have the maturity to endure even the slightest praise and still be good at what they do.

In reality, the players should be constantly and persistently derided for every moment that they are not the greatest football team ever assembled, as we all know how that is what builds up team mental strength in a football program. No masochistic and joyless scream-monger, like a Will Muschamp, has ever had a team quit on them.

Also, there should be no like button on Volnation, but I am liking your post--which merely demonstrates the quality that every Volnation post should achieve. I am doing this wholly as a test of your character and as a way to monitor your post-quality going forward.

I did not see this part on tv, was out, but it is being mocked over on swampgas. Something about getting hats, too? Did they really pass out hats for the players for that?

I can't believe someone would complain about the trophy ceremony.. Can you imagine the pissy moaning had we lost and VTech had the ceremony? This place would implode.........

Exactly right. Some of us wait for the season to start so we can cheer on the team. Now not liking what is happening and saying something once or twice is fine. It's the ones saying the same thing over and over every day and finding any little thing to post negative about that gets to be old. I actually think it's miserable lives they lead and wanna drag people along with them.
