On one hand I agree, just blood clot stuff scares me. Like I said, I'm afraid it's not gonna matter what any of us think about it, or him.

That tells you all you need to know about this young man. He knows he’s high risk considering his medical history and still wants to play for the pure enjoyment of the game. Meanwhile, you got guys turning down millions of dollars in the NFL to opt out this season.

Trey and his doctors know his situation better than I do but him playing just feels scary.

Putting that aside, has there ever been a Vol with more heart than this young man? He's truly the embodiment of what a student athlete should be.

They don't have the cure or vaccine for Coronavirus. So this argument is invalid.

EVERYONE wants to see him play.
NOT everyone cares if it's done safely...

Reason he returned. Up his draft value. Needed to show he could play two consecutive seasons clot free. If he does so during this mess? Quentin Nelson draft stock territory.

How do we do ANYTHING “safely” with this unknown? He could sit at home and still develop clots (or Covid for that matter). The science ain’t a fact.

How about let’s use that noggin and read into what I’m saying.

Trey is telling you he wants to play football. It’s his life, his decision. Yet another individual is over there trying to tell him what is best for him. All this after Trey acknowledges the risk and says that he accepts it and has worked way to hard to not have a football season.

This country is messed up because people always want others to conform to what they want and their ideals on how to think and act. But, todays culture is conformist.....

It's why this new fangled thing and idea came along called insurance. It's about paying for risk management. The hand wringing knee clackers never fail to amaze me with their choice of always living under the specter of fear. Choosing it for themselves is okay with me, it's their requirement they use the power of the state or various other institutions to make cowards of the rest of us laying under the bed with them and their timid behinds. A virus that only kills 1% or less, really? Really? Really?

Trey Smith is not a sheep who follows the whims of the media, politicians and bureaucrats. He is thinking for himself and willing to take reasonable risk unlike the sheep who follow the wishes of the "Masters" who tell them things they can't do or must do. All of this hyped nonsense will disappear after the election.
