Transfers?

WBB: South Carolina with a late addition to 2018 recruiting class — Elysa Wesolek, 6-1 F, Northwood Academy (SC); she originally signed with Western Kentucky last fall but reopened her recruitment after coaching change.

any news on the 2 Grad transfers from A&M im really hoping Dani Williams takes a visit to Knoxville !

This is interesting. It says school #5 is undecided...after Florida State, UConn, Miss State and South Carolina. I wonder if this means she's backed off Tennessee?

Deflection of the core of the problem......typical.......there is not a single person in the UTAD that I "hate".........good evening.......

Was gonna say there's not a single person in the UTAD that I "hug", but that's not true.

Those words - hate & hug - are position descriptors not to be taken literally. You should know that...unless you're just deflecting the core problem.

Just own your hate, daddy. Good morning.

(Now can we just stop?)

Madinah Muhammad from Ole Miss announces her transfer.
She was 7/10 from 3pt when we played them this year. She's from Chicago area. She was their leading scorer at 17 a game.

Also, Sierra Calhoun has been granted her release from Ohio State University. Will be eligible as 5th year Grad Transfers

Victoria Patrick is transforming from South Carolina. That makes 2 for them this year.

She probably sees the writing on the wall. There is zero reason she should see court time this year, with Harris, Cooper, Henderson and Jackson as the guard rotation.

She (Calhoun) will finally get all the time she can ask for, why leave?

So the issue with the team's performance was not chemistry, since they had the same problems once the so-called cancer was removed.

If Diamond was such a detriment to the team, it's just another example of Holly's ineffectiveness for not doing something about it. She would have still been on the team if she hadn't abruptly decided to leave, so it just makes any comments about her from the team and staff look like sour grapes.

Why do some of us keep coming up with excuses for ineffective coaching? Diamond may have been a cancer but is she the reason we can’t develop our players, we have turned positive streaks into negatives or simply failed to play up to our capabilities against BAMA, LSU, etc. We have a continuing issue on this team and it started before Diamond ever set her feet on the Tennessee campus, a lacking of leadership.

Man Holly what are you doing? Thought they were going to go all out trying to get Danni knowing we need some reliable production beyond the 3 point line.

It’s not like we can’t still get Williams, but I think it’s highly unlikely we do. We don’t even know if she’s interested in us or still thinking about transferring anymore.

I just thought if we did end up going the JUCO route it would’ve been for a scorer or at least someone who could’ve helped stretch the floor.

Looks like she's a Kortney Dunbar clone. She will probably have a sign around her neck at the end of the bench that says, "In Case of Emergency"

I was thinking the same thing. The Brown news feels a little like when we landed Harris in 2016. Bad press so some kind of move has to be made.

I’ll try to remain optimistic but for us to sign a grad transfer, she should be an impact player for us next season. That’s the only reason why we should have taken her since we already have Collins, KK, Green and Harris. If she’s a Kort clone, it will be a wasted opportunity for both parties. Her scoring average worries me, especially since she played on the third worst team in the Pac 12.

All in all, welcome Louise and we have high hopes for you!
