'26 Transfer QB options

He played behind one of the worst lines in college football the past two seasons. Tennessee has not had one of the worst lines in college football.

Not sure why you continue to compare our coaching, scheming, and personnel to that of Nebraska. Maybe had too much of grandpa’s cough syrup last huge celebrating the new year. That’s the only logical explanation for you making that comparison.

Brother, I’m not comparing any of those things.

I am telling you: Raiola doesn’t move well. That’s it. That is the beginning and end of what I’m saying. He is a statue.

You’re creating arguments in your head that do not exist.

You’re saying he would be just as good here as he was at Nebraska. The only way you can come to that conclusion is coaching, personnel, and scheme are equals. That’s a hell of a take.

I am saying he would get sacked a sh*t ton. That being due to his inability to move his body at a rate of speed that would get him out of harm.

Everything else you’re making up in your own mind and attempting to argue about it.

You would have to reach that conclusion he’d get sacked a lot by saying Tennessee’s line would be comparable to his Nebraska offensive line which was among the worst in the country. Like I said, that’s a hell of a take considering Tennessee was nowhere near the worst offensive lines in the country the last two seasons.

So much for all the experts saying he's TT bound. AP said we've moved on to Leavitt anyway.
I don’t get the hype about leavitt. Someone explain it to me.

Edit: I say this having only watched him minimally. His highlights appear better than what I’ve seen when I’ve watched him.

Great intermediate and short range accuracy. Long ball is decent enough. Bides time and makes plays with legs. Not sure what is decision making is like but not concerned in our system. Would be a good get. Don’t know that we’ll pay enough to get him.

He would be a huge upgrade over JA. He's accurate, doesn't turn the ball over and his teammates love him. He's not a true DT, but he has enough mobility and is definitely not a statue. He would have much better WR's here and when healthy he doesn't quit and tough AF. He could be next years version of Fernando Mendoza. Mendoza was good at Cal, but with better coaching and take the went next level. I can see Leavitt doing that here or wherever he ends up. Hopefully in O&W.

He has multiple years of eligibility left and is a gamer.

Heupel having multiple seasons with a QB ready to play right away is literally the best scenario anyone could wish for.
I really don't think he plays more than 1 more year, especially with a good season next year. But the option would definitely be there. I'm hoping and praying he's our guy. So does my sister, apparently he's very pretty .😂😂

I would’ve asked which portal QBs you like more than him.

Sorsby’s (bc everyone says him) best year is basically the same as Leavitt’s.

It’s not a definitive metric and no two games are the same…..but after watching a P4 conference champ get shut out (so far) by Oregon, I wouldn’t bat an eye if the JMU QB were the guy. There’s no way that TT is this bad.

estimate on when we will sign a QB or at least know we have one?

I’m thinking it will be a done deal by Wednesday give or take a day if we get who we want

If it goes into next weekend it could be ugly

JMO

I'd imagine they already have some sort of idea who they want and who will be interested. Nothing like some back alley conversations! 😂😂
