Long throwing motion with very dramatic dip. Can lock on to targets which can create turnovers (two full seasons started and 18 interceptions between the two). We have all seen how efficient this offense helps QBs be will add as well. Takes a lot of sacks. Also a LOT of fumbles (14 in those 2 years).
I watched a few of his games, and it wasn’t any worse than- if you remember Randal Cunningham. He doesn’t have the speed of him, but he can run too. But yeah he does wind up

AP keeps saying there is some smoke around us and Leavitt.
Considering our needs, do we have that kind of money to throw at an injured quarterback especially with the money we're already spending on MacIntyre and Brandon? Even if we do, I just get a sinking feeling that his surgery/injury issues will limit him. After hearing other folks talk about taking a less expensive...and healthy...guy from a lower level and putting the vast majority of our funds into the portal, I tend to favor that approach. Got no faith in this staff's evals and development. Sure have zero faith in our strength and conditioning program. Only way to get a quick fix is the portal, and IMO, Heupel needs a quick fix. His clock here is running out quicker than even I expected.

I agree.
If Leavitt’s price tag really is at $4m, and he won’t be recovered from the LisFranc surgery until May - give me a healthy Alonza Barnett for half the price all day.

The only thing that scares me about Barnett is his completion %. He barely completed 58% of his passes. I haven't watched much of JMU, so maybe that was because of his WR's. Or is he just not very accurate? Not that he couldn't get that fixed, just haven't seen enough of him to know why his % is so low.

Yes that also concerned me at first glance a week ago

Raiola is a QB that balled out in HS and Poly bowl. Was surprised he picked Huskers. Wondered if he just wasnt developed or scheme sucked. Prob both.

He has definitely been humbled in his time in Lincoln from his recruiting days.

He has multiple seasons left of eligibility. I would kill to have him in Heupel’s system for the next 2 years considering how stacked we are at receiver. He’s probably gonna have lower number to sign compared to other guys that will be in demand.

I think we’d give up the most sacks we’ve ever given up if he’s the QB

Aguilar had 200+ yards rushing in each of his seasons at App State.

Raiola has had -65 and -87 yards rushing in his two years.

And he was playing behind one of the worst lines in college football.

Not sure why you are cherry picking stats here in an effort to trash Heupel’s ability and the offensive line that will be very experienced next year. Two things that Nebraska has neither of.

Lol In what way am I trashing Heup’s ability?

You got the wrong guy. I’m a Heup believer.

Raiola would get sacked a million times bc he can’t move.

He played behind one of the worst lines in college football the past two seasons. Tennessee has not had one of the worst lines in college football.

Not sure why you continue to compare our coaching, scheming, and personnel to that of Nebraska. Maybe had too much of grandpa’s cough syrup last huge celebrating the new year. That’s the only logical explanation for you making that comparison.
