Reality doesn't agree with you.

And you should probably be careful what you wish for anyway.

Fact-check dot org: “we’re not biased”

Meanwhile the founder (Kathleen Hall Jamieson) has a background in media and leftist academic institutions (Penn, UW-Madison). Suggesting that she’s politically neutral is a charade.

The post COVID rebound wasn’t explored in much depth as well as the slowed roll out of interest rate cuts. The handouts from the CHIPS Act could have been analyzed far more thoroughly to assess that impact of spending while the free money was available.

The biggest tax on the people is the .gov’s intentional destruction of the dollar. Not a fan of tariffs, but ffs, some are bitchin’ about the rope we’re hanging oursleves with being new.

It’s because they are ignorant and don’t understand that every printed dollar reduces the worth of the dollar they have.

I wish I would have written it down, but something like 600K deportations and over 2MM "Self" deportations. It is progress towards cleaning up the Biden invasion.

I hope that a lot of them are able to return to the USA the right way. Unfortunately there’s still a long way to go for processing legal immigration. The 20 million +/- that didn’t enter correctly has put a massive strain on naturalization and enforcement resources. It will take years to get ahead of that surge. The 2MM that self deported ought to be rewarded with expedited applications, but in a fair way. Those that have been going through the process as they’re supposed to shouldn’t lose their places in line.

Lol, it's a literal chart from the federal reserve.

Lol, why does it make you upset that factcheck reported...factual information?

I already addressed that. Delays in rate cuts. The post COVID recovery. The impact of ending the border chaos. The cost of the CHIPS Act handouts and sunsetting of the awards. The short term contrasted with tge years it takes to build much of the high tech facilities. Overcoming obstacles at the local levels.

Academia and the media. The article includes some facts but also glosses over the parts complimentary to the current administration.

I mean you both are technically right. Manufacturing was up 41% over 2021-2024 average. Of course, that is heavily skewed by super low 2021-2022 figures as result of COVID as well as the cumulative impacts of Biden era inflation and Trump tarrifs.

2025 is down from 2024 heights. Of course, those 2024 figures were heavily subsidized with CHIPS and IRA money.....

TGO is probably wrong with rates as reason. They are lower now than 2024...
