All of which means that the Trump victory lap on this may -- not definitely will, but may -- be premature.

Personally, I hope he succeeds. Good for me personally. I'm just saying don't jump the gun.

sounds like a scam. the company is "buying" up potential refunds, and looking for investors who want to get in on the ground floor of this life changing deal. once those investors are on the hook, they will each need to bring 3 more investors in.

Absolute blood bath in the market today. But clearly there is no correlation to the market drop and the newest round of idiotic tariffs coupled with a weak July jobs report and major downward revisions for May and June on top of it.

Trump just a few days ago wa taking a victory lap....emboldened on his tariff strategy.

Be ready for a major TACO move.

When you look at the stumbling jobs market as well as looming price increases by large retailers there is going to have to be a TACO move. As mojo replied though when? Will he fold on the tariffs quickly or hang on too long and wreck the economy.

He should just put a 4 year delay on the tariffs and say he will revisit them all then. And take his well deserved victory lap😂

I was told his plan is working because he's cutting deals all the time.

Depends on what kind of TACO he serves up. One with jalapeños, extra cheese, and delayed tariffs probably not enough this time. Investors tired of the uncertainty

Someone explain this to me like I’m five…wait, no…make it three years old. If deal after deal has been reached, then why the need to torch those deals by doubling back to place new and even higher tariffs on those trading partners you’ve supposedly reached a deal with?? Markets want clarity and this whipsawing back and forth isn’t providing a speck of it. Pick. A. Lane. The lack of discipline and pragmatism in his approach is not helping. There’s was a fantastic opportunity standing in front of him in January and he simply won’t take advantage of it. He’s wasting it on this nonsense.
