I imagine the main purpose is to track them separately. But really don't know either.

But, I use both and I like them being separate.
this is correct. most runners want to be able to keep their times. Running 8/min per mile then add a 4 mile walk at 20 min/per, well your averages are going to suck. So it's great to separate it. Same with separating cycling. 3:30/mile vs 8/mile. For a lot of people, it's more than just logging miles. It's how those miles are logged.

Yeah, I didn't think about that until you mentioned it when I was planning to use run with sprints. Not a big deal but I'm glad I figured out to separate it.

I'm excited about trying it out. Really happy I decided to give this watch a try. I'm sure the Samsung will do most if not all the stuff this one does but my confidence in the accuracy of this one is a difference maker and more important than anything else.

I couldn’t find intervals, but I’m fighting a sinus infection and a horrible work week. I’ll mess around, watch the video you posted, and figure it all out.

I'm a dumbass so I had to watch it on my tablet while I followed along on my phone. It was probably like 2 minutes running time but with pause and rewind, maybe about 10 for me. Lol

...you can hit the top right button (stop/start)
Select run
On that screen press middle button on the left side.
Then select training
Intervals is there below workouts. Workouts is where my Sprints are.

I love playing with this stuff.
