Total Solar Eclipse - August 21, 2017

It got really trippy at 95%. I had cloud cover until about 85%. After that the clouds broke up for a complete unobstructed view. It was amazing.

I plan on being is San Antonio April 2024.

This pic doesn't do what I saw with my own eyes justice, it was amazing.

Major letdown in St Joe Mo. We were in 100% totality zone. Total cloud coverage and rain.

I would be one pissed off cowboy if I drove from Tx to St Joe for this crap. It got pitch black for 30 seconds or so, then started to get light again. #ripoff

Cool picture a friend of mine got.

The last total eclipse that I saw was in Virginia in 1970 and my parents wouldn't let me look at it when it was in total eclipse so I missed the sun's halo around the moon. I was so cool looking it's hard to describe.

I didn't, as soon as it got totally covered I took them off. It was beautiful.

Yeah, more a general comment than speaking to you.

Cool event and pretty neat I didn't have to leave the house. Would have been cool to see it for a couple minutes but the 40ish seconds here was great.
