He said that he applied a couple times and was turned away. And he seemed happy enough with the work visa.
He’s been working with me for probably 9 years. I’d say a friend for 7 years.
I take some responsibility for this just not paying attention.
But his paperwork had always been renewed in the past and he didn’t bring it to my attention until it was too late.

Situations like this suck...100%. I wish there was options..but I'm happy he is doing it this way at least so we can get a good future citizen back to his family. Sorry man. Tell him good luck and I'll say some prayers he makes it back safe and sound!!!!

why were these people's phones being tracked? What did they do that warranted tracking them?

are we going to be treating people exercising their rights as if they are criminals?

that bs needs to either be justified now, or stopped.

I've been told here before that compehensive federal databases with citizens information are bad. I doubt anyone will defend individual liberties under our new government.

As I mentioned several years ago the tv show Person of Interest which featured an advanced ai connected to the iot on national level that projected people's future behaviors. It's hard to fit the pentagon anthropic disagreement into debates but it fits here.

unless there is a judge or warrant involved I don't care who is doing it with what tools or to whom, it shouldn't exist.

It’s time for construction guys to put an end to this ****!!!
We’re not building anything until it’s fixed. Not roads, not infrastructure, not bridges, no electric grid infrastructure. Gas and water are shut down……..not a ****ing thing that belongs to the government until they start acting of the people, by the people, for the people, instead of just running us the **** over.

They raided roofing companies in Chattanooga today.
Not tomato pickers…..roofers. Do yall really think that is a low skill job. Let’s take the unemployment and put them on the roofs. What could possibly go wrong.

They are justified. These are the antifa types that are on the list because they are part of a violent network an are collaborating with and planning violent attacks and mixing funding with both foreign communists and Islamic terror groups

Trump put into positions of power zealots willing to place loyalty to him above their oaths to support and defend the Constitution and bear true faith and allegiance to the same. He also put into positions of power women he finds attractive. Two of these are at or near the top of DHS. They rapidly recruited and deployed with minimal training new ICE agents charging them to apprehend as many illegal aliens as quickly as possible and get them out of the country. They were ordered to act on administrative warrants and told that they were immune from prosecution. Leadership demanded thousands of apprehensions each day. Their tactics have been crude, uncaring, and brutal.

Aliens legally in the US as well as some citizens have been swept up in this initiative. US citizens legally protesting their tactics have been unlawfully detained, brutalized, injured, and killed. Even Republican members of Congress have objected to the manner in which ICE has been executing their mission and called for the resignation of Secretary Kristi Noem.

It’s been a **** show. It didn’t have to be so. It doesn’t have to be so, and the reputations of career professionals have been compromised because of it.
