I read somewhere that ICE is ceasing on the roaming ID checks that is also a big part of the friction. Having PD notify ICE and ICE not just randomly riding around pulling people over should hopefully dial things back.

As well as a drawdown on the number of agents which is what Homan talked about. Isn’t compromise an amazing thing? Trump and Congress could apply it to more things if they really wanted to but that’s not going to happen. Division is Chapter One in the playbook.
