Too much ice

You have been spending a lot of time with the Mrs since retirement, she's rubbing off on you..
It’s a self protection move generally. But in this case I’m pretty sure I’m more pissed off at the ridiculous extrajudicial killing of a citizen than she is. She just hates Trump. I hate the ridiculous actions of his underlings resulting in the needless deaths of people.

Just for clarity, is he wrong?
No. It is interpretation. And situational gray area.

For example, if my Podiatrist (who has a scope of practice limited to my feet) notices me chocking on hard candy during my exam, is he allowed to perform moves like mouth sweep to dislodge the obstruction...like any untrained citizen faced with same situation. The scope of practice says 'no'. But I would side with the idea that even though it isn't in the Podiatrist's legal scope of practice, he did the right thing.

It was a joke.

It authorizes what their scope is. It also delineates what their scope isn't. But I didn't see anything limiting their scope when a serious crime is witnessed. Our discussion was about car theft. But I think it is more clear when we talk about crimes bringing harm to people rather than property crimes.
Ok we don’t disagree on that I in fact was the one that provided that expansion. In this case the serious crime was committed by the damn agents 🤷‍♂️

Is this the incident where they shot that male nurse?
Well that’s what the last 150 pages of this thread are about which is what I assumed you and the thick headed ham sammich were referring to. If you were talking about limited authority with exemptions for dangerous extenuating circumstance we’ve already agreed that’s likely the case even though I can’t see where that info was actually provided. In fact I’ll go as far as to say if any armed LEO doesn’t intercede to protect a person in danger I’d ask what the hell was wrong with them which is what I think got you to thinking?

Yeah...I've been out of the loop on the event. From the limited stuff I saw, that looks like criminal behavior by ICE. I didn't see long form videos of the moment so no idea what lead up to the murder (my position).
