I would be interested in any “side” that can justify a disarmed US citizen on the ground under 4 ICE agents taking 10 bullets (including 3 in the back) for his lack of “compliance”. There is no “side” that can justify that. If the Trump gang is already backing off the narrative, they don’t see it either. As noted earlier, somebody is about to get run over by a double decker Greyhound.

I suspect, during the wrestling/resisting, an agent saw the gun and yelled "Gun!", another agent, having heard that, saw him make a movement toward his waistband and fired, and then other agents shot at the sound.

How could he make a move towards his waistband when several ICE agents are on his back and he's on all fours with both arms up at his head trying to keep his face out of the pavement and protect his head from being bashed with a spray can? The agent who removed the gun did so right under the nose of the agent who shot him in the back...and it sure looks like he's taking his gun out while looking down at the agent taking the guy's gun. They threw him to the ground and jumped on him and his "resisting" lasted only a few seconds before they loaded him with lead.

If these ICE agents had a legit hiring process to go through, thorough training, and some sort of accountability...Pretti would be alive today...probably never even being sprayed and tackled. This is what happens when you arm a bunch of amateurs and tell them they can do whatever they want and have full immunity.

I just don't see any way to justify or lessen the severity of what happened with Pretti.
