Too much ice

Anti-ICE journalist offered position with ICE. She didn’t complete required background paperwork on criminal history and passed a drug test after smoking marijuana 6 days prior. Still received job offer and was onboarded in the system.

Who are these people actually doing the enforcing of immigration laws? At best the fact that she made it as far as she did in the application process is concerning.
Wow. That South Park skit @DinkinFlicka shared earlier couldn't be more true to life. That's bad.

In 2024 Minnesota AG Keith Ellison Argued No Right to Carry a Gun at ‘Political Rallies and Protests’

In 2024, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) was among 17 AGs who contended there is no right to carry a gun at “political rallies and protests.”

The AGs did this in a January 26, 2024, filing in support of upholding California’s gun controls for “sensitive places” in a Ninth Circuit case.

In the filing, Ellison and the other AGs expressed support for banning the possession of firearms “in crowded places.”

The AGs wrote: “Without the power to institute such restrictions, California and other states would be left unable effectively to prevent gun violence in crowded places, around vulnerable populations, or where individuals are exercising other constitutionally protected rights, putting the public at risk.”

They emphasized, “Even the perceived risk of gun violence could cause repercussions, as individuals may be discouraged from visiting crowded or confined locations where they know others may be armed.”

To bolster their argument, Ellison and the other AGs noted the practice of designating “event involving political speech, like political rallies and protests,” as gun-free sensitive places.

Ellison is a demonstrated idiot and liar. Next deflection?

I was wondering if anybody would ever post about this. It's not going to matter to the people ITT backing ICE rn

Why wouldn't people support law enforcement for upholding the law? If one is having problems with individuals or similar, than that is okay but what you are talking about for years has a word - anarchy.

And she wasn’t arrested after. So again he didn’t impede anything

This is interesting. What do you believe he was doing there? It seemed to be more than passively observing.

Watching the video I don’t fully understand what lead to the confrontation.

All gun laws are unconstitutional

And Minnesota has no law that bans guns at a protest anyways. He’s an idiot

Yeah, not sure why this would matter. She doesn’t really seem to present any evidence of her claims and is self confessed to be very anti ice. Not the most reliable source for giving objective information about ice

Yeah. The guy didn't get shot because he had a gun, he got shot because he's a dumb ass. You don't fight law enforcement on the side of the road.

Still waiting for you to provide where you can interfere as long as you’re carrying. Believe the kids called us trying to move the goal post some even called deflection.

Moving the goal post? Let's revisit the entire interaction since you apparently are struggling to follow it.

I said that the administration was stating anti 2A rhetoric and lying about your rights. You responded with a non-sequitor and begging a question that I never mentioned. I provided you a statement to corroborate my initial claim. You're the one who changed things up. Move along.

If they arrest you for having a gun absent some other situation or fact, most likely it will be an unlawful arrest.

But there is one way you can lose i.e. fighting with law enforcement on the side of the road.

A drug smoking journalist with no documentation on criminal background was evidently hired to uphold the law.

You’re seriously good with this and asking why we wouldn’t support it?

No, its his opinion. Just like it was posted by the Minnesota AG on the last page, I disagree with that opinion as well, as a generalization.

LSU-SIU: The earth is flat.

Everybody: No it isn't. Here's the data to prove it.

LSU-SIU: Well, that's just like your opinion, man.

I wouldn’t call getting jumped a fight

Looks like resisting to me, whether we agree with probable cause is a whole different discussion. There is a time and place for that, and its not on the side of the road or in this case the cemetery.
