Anti-Trump US reporter says she was offered job at ICE after ‘minimal vetting’
Slate journalist Laura Jedeed documented hiring process and said she got offer despite not completing paperworkwww.theguardian.com
Anti-ICE journalist offered position with ICE. She didn’t complete required background paperwork on criminal history and passed a drug test after smoking marijuana 6 days prior. Still received job offer and was onboarded in the system.
Who are these people actually doing the enforcing of immigration laws? At best the fact that she made it as far as she did in the application process is concerning.
Spoken like someone who doesn’t have it figured out. Nice ramble though. That’s because they don’t care about any conservative or Christian ideals. They are using conservatives as a vehicle to push their own self-serving agenda. They will toss those ideals aside if they are a roadblock to their real agenda.
Been dropping these all weekend on people. I took a life long friend to task in private convo as he is a staunch 2A supporter. And he normally is … but not this time. And I told him I believe him on his convictions and told him I expect more. We agreed to disagree because it’s ludicrous to actually destroy lifelong relationships because if disagreement. But taking each other to task is absolutely the expectation. If the tables were turned I’d expect the same from him toward me.The about face on the second amendment from the administration apologists is one of the more pathetic parts of this whole thing.

Can you point me to the part that says “ well … you have to have your permit of course”. I’d guess it’s somewhere close to “shall not be infringed “ which I have seen here all the time. It must be close the amendment isn’t that large. TIA!Where in the 2A does it say you can impede/interfere as long as you’re carrying a gun?
First part, I would generally disagree with but that his opinion, the second part is true as a generalization.Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law."
Whistling past the graveyard.

Still waiting for you to provide where you can interfere as long as you’re carrying. Believe the kids called us trying to move the goal post some even called deflection.Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law."
True or false.
I'm sure Minnesotans right now feel like "They aren't sending their best"
Take off the masks and start identifying yourself, whether you have a warrant or not, what you are detaining someone for. Learn the law. Should be a bare minimum.
