Maybe, but I’ve never seen ATF be granted WAY more money than they would ever need, recruit politically motivated sycophants, and sent to a city to perform “crowd control”. This is different.
The final ballistics report will tell the tale...is suspect's DNA on an officer's gun or another gun? or notI will concede that (him going for an agents gun) has to be considered in an exhaustive detailed report. I just don’t see how that can play out with four guys piled on top of him likely highly limiting use of his hands is all.
Who is performing "crowd Control"....the ICE agents are carrying out operations directly and these people are interfering or obstructingMaybe, but I’ve never seen ATF be granted WAY more money than they would ever need, recruit politically motivated sycophants, and sent to a city to perform “crowd control”. ^^^ this part amazes me. For my entire life Republicans have claimed “small government”, “kick the responsibilities to the states”, “states rights”, “an all-powerful centralized government is dangerous”, etc…
Now it’s comply or die. The level of hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness is astounding. It just goes to show what a crock of sh** all those talking points were, because when their chosen leaders turn tyrannical they can’t wait to blame the states being terrorized, the Americans (not in a border town, btw) protesting for their most basic freedoms to be free from a masked police force that claims it’s enforcing immigration and customs laws, yet macing and shooting Americans in their own neighborhoods.
Wake up you hypocritical wimps.
It wasnt over run with federal agents, it was over run with criminals. What are you calling "basically the same BS?"
Democrats built the vehicle. **** 'em. But IDK what compares to this. What conservative city was overrun with federal agents (and national guard) in the Biden or Obama admin?
So, a quick test of logic here. Does (1) refusing to support and aid ICE, while (2) vilifying and threatening ICE agents in an effort to drive down recruitment (a) lessen or (b) worsen these problems?
No, because the last party convinced the people they were the gestapo and were calling the cops on their grandmother for not wearing a mask.I don't disagree but we haven't seen an American gestapo on our streets in my lifetime. Nor have I seen an American president openly antagonize, openly bully and overtly threaten military action against our allies.
Trump fans the flames of division to his benefit and to our detriment in a manner I haven't seen in my lifetime.
There is no equivalency here with prior administrations, again, at least in my lifetime, democrat or republican.
And how did we get here? Not sure if I’m misunderstanding you but government paramilitary or even wannabemilitary agents shooting people on the street and pushing their way into houses is worth discussing, IMO.
