Watch him dance now.Dude, you linked an article and made a claim. When it turns out you apparently didn’t read it, just grabbed a headline that suited your feelings to post and get called out for it when it does not support your claim, you jump to something else with “You should read blah, blah, blah.”
Get it right the first time.

Of those 170 cases 76% were held for interfering with ICE operations...the other were released within a few hours...much like being taken in for questioning for a crime...people are making a bigger deal outta this then they wanna admit. So, there were ~170 cases where citizens were detained at raids and protests. Wish that no citizen was detained, but 170 citizen cases ... 660,000 deportations by ICE ... pretty good %.
Federal agencies without cooperation from locals don’t really have a mechanism for arresting large amounts of people at once aside from immigration laws. They don’t have jails per se, they generally rely on locals for support. When feds arrest someone they usually go through a processing then store the prisoner in a jail that is approved in the district. Example, if a person is arrested by the FBI on federal charges in Murfreesboro, they’ll take them to theirs or US Marshals processing location (prints photos paperwork) then transport them to Nashville (Davidson Co Sheriff’s Office for booking and detention. US Marshals then take the responsibility for transporting them to and fro for court proceedings. It can vary a little bit but that’s generally how it works.Of those 170 cases 76% were held for interfering with ICE operations...the other were released within a few hours...much like being taken in for questioning for a crime...people are making a bigger deal outta this then they wanna admit.
Good info....I was just explaining that thier framing of citizens detained is disengeniuos at best as most are held for legit reasons. Also if I remember reading correctly immigration is not subject to the same standards that's local LEOS..I'll try to find the articleFederal agencies without cooperation from locals don’t really have a mechanism for arresting large amounts of people at once aside from immigration laws. If ICE wasn’t terrorizing Minneapolis maybe they wouldn’t have shot her. Right back at ya, bubba.
