Renee Good backed up and turned her wheel to avoid him, and Jonathan Ross extricated himself from the front of the vehicle as evidenced by the fact that he was able to fire into it 3 times, once from the front and two from the side.

No he should not have placed himself in front her her car to begin with. He placed himself in danger by doing so, and it's from a 'use of deadly force perspective' it's reasonable to expect a federal officer to not intentionally put themselves in harms way to justify the use of deadly force.

Furthermore ICE has no authority to conduct a traffic stop against a US citizen, they should have sucked up their egos and driven around her, and called the situation in to local police if they felt it warranted police intervention.

You're full of "not true".

It'll be justified in the eyes of the law due to the fullness of circumstances and his perspective. He was standing there. The SUV was there. He had X amount of reaction time. Is it reasonable to allow that he reasonably thought his life was in danger?

That's from our ICE-hating attny on here that specializes in this, and it's from several attnies I've listened to talking about this specific case. It's not from liberal knuckleheads online that are grasping at pearls and straws to generate some fuel for their political agenda.

And for the record, I looked it up and posted it in this thread. ICE has the authority to stop, detain or arrest anyone who is trying to obstruct their activities--as well as any other felonies observed, I do believe.

Fortunately for J.R. and anyone else ever involved in a situation identically to this incident, your highlights do not matter.
He was hit with the car and didn't have time to move.
Let's revisit this after the courts decide. No reason to continue to go back and forth any longer.

ICE cannot detain US citizens unless they attempt to directly impede ICE operations to detain non-citizens, and they certainly can't try to enforce local traffic laws.

They can arrest or detain anyone (including U.S. citizens) for certain federal crimes committed in their presence, such as misdemeanors, or for felonies if they have reasonable grounds—especially if they are performing immigration-related duties. This includes crimes like interfering with or impeding an ICE operation (e.g., obstructing an arrest, assaulting an officer, or blocking agents).
ICE is actively performing immigration-related duties in Minn.

There was no federal crime committed in their presence. The can't enforce local traffic laws. They had no business getting out of their vehicle and instigating the confrontation.

That'll hold up in court, especially considering the fact that she reversed the SUV and changed its orientation to him, putting him most directly in front of the SUV.

Have they subpoenaed you as the prosecution's psychic to go under oath and assure the jury that he wasn't just walking over to get on the same side of the vehicle as his partner and record the interaction on his phone for their own protection? (I mean, these were folks that had been harassing them all day, likely seeking a video that would paint ICE in a poor light.)

Tangential: you saw her getting passed by multiple cars and waving people by and concluded that she was blocking traffic as part of a non-peaceful protest?
