Too much ice

And hit an ICE agent while doing so. If you hit a police officer today with your car, would you pretend to be shocked if they reacted with the use of lethal force?

It’s wild to me to believe you can just show up to interfere with law enforcement, berate them, hit them with your car, and if they react they’re the problem.
The action continuum contains a few things between doing nothing and shooting someone multiple times in the face.

Use of force continuum allows for officers to use force one step higher than force being used against them if I remember correctly. In this case it’s not really relevant as the officer perceived deadly force being used against him.

lol you started your post with “hey, pal” and then pretend it’s insecure to call you out for getting worked okay.

Listen pal! Don’t you accuse me of being worked up!
How is "Hey Pal" being worked up. I seriously thought we had become "Pals" in the literal sense because we seem to agree about the BS dumbasses in the football forum. I actually explained how it was cool we agree on sports. I actually stated politics isn't a top ten priority to discuss in social dialogue. Tried to move on and yet your still wanted to discuss it. Now you're focused on trying to prove I am more worked up than you. No, you have no self awareness

Curious as to how many needless arrests and LEO encounters (violent or not) have been made due to the “temperature” that has been had because of political agenda. ICE is an agency that is acting upon US law and is now being highlighted in democratic cities because democratic leaders have constantly name called and have called for citizens to push back against their presence. They are there doing their job and now have to put up with everything else. Of course they will be on edge constantly.
I think your overall point is absolutely correct. There’s a feedback loop happening between agents and those opposed.

The extremist enforcement policy is part of the tinderbox as well. If they were just going after “bad guys,” democrats could say whatever they and it wouldn’t get this much of a response. Not sure anybody listens to them anyways.

Not nearly as absurd as the claim that he was in fear for his life with no other option.
I don’t know if he was in true danger and I wish he hadn’t shot the woman, but revving the engine and sideswiping a cop that has asked you to step out of the vehicle is clearly a case of Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes.

They are hand picked and can only consider evidence provided by the DA. No trial will be forthcoming.
The loony radical left-wing judges who will be "dereliction of duty" will just dismiss the case(s) & set them free. That's how 99.9% of those will go in bat crazy Minnesota.

That seems to be some right wing propaganda.....read it yourself

Shocked that someone would be blatantly lying to you.
The statute is kind of interesting.
(1) to protect the peace officer or another from death or great bodily harm, provided that the threat:

(i) can be articulated with specificity;

(ii) is reasonably likely to occur absent action by the law enforcement officer; and

(iii) must be addressed through the use of deadly force without unreasonable delay; or

I wonder how that jives with the DHS policy study findings and manual of shooting drivers of vehicles under power not being an appropriate way to address the danger posed by someone fleeing?

I don’t think MN can prosecute him without it being removed to Federal Court, but I’m not certain whose law gets applied once that happens.
