Too much ice

We know her intent wasn't to run him over, her wheels were pointed away from him. The argument is that the officer didn't know she was turning (or see her hands on the steering wheel) and wrongly thought he was going to die, and that shooting her would save himself
Her intent is irrelevant. The question is "Did the officer think his life was being threatened". That's an obvious YES.

It's far from silly; it's accurate. There are a lot of good cops but there are also a lot of miscreants.
Why don't you run the numbers on murder rates in America compared to Muslim countries?
Law enforcement in America has between 4.5-5 million encounters with the public each year and there are about 300-400 shootings, 90% are clearly justified and legal.

So yes...it IS silly. You are more likely to be killed by a random guy walking down the sidewalk in NYC or Chicago than ever by a LEO

She literally hit him with her car. How little do you think of female drivers?

What were you referencing when you called it a facemask, and illegal? Your definition of a facemask? What would the referees be referring to your opinion, or the rules? In our legal system, which would be the equivalent to the standard? Our laws, or your opinion?
WTH???? Can you ask a coherent question?
So, it's your view that it was a justifiable homicide, but he also killed her illegally. Despite what the words actually mean?
No I do not believe it was a justifiable homicide, but I believe the authorities (refs) will view it that way.
What he did meets my definition of murder, and murder, by definition is the illegal taking of life.
So again....in my eyes, it was murder, which is illegal.
In the eyes of the authorities who will make the ultimate call, it was not illegal, which means it was not murder.

The facemask was committed on a running back in the backfield and in complete unobstructed view of multiple refs.
It turned his head completely sideways and caused his upper body to twist significantly......and it was at a critical time late in the 4th quarter. Even the announcers were shocked that there was no call. The fact that there was no penalty called and enforced in no way negates the fact that an obvious illegal activity occurred.

If the refs were to later claim that they viewed the facemask as incidental, it would in no way change the fact that an illegal facemask occurred and they completely blew the call.....but alas...still no penalty.

No I do not believe it was a justifiable homicide,

You’ve seen the video where she clearly hits him with her car, right? So in your mind it’s unjustifiable to shoot someone who after her and her wife both have been yelling and behaving aggressively then rams you with her car.

That’s not justifiable? Does she have to literally kill him first before you’ll accept a violent reaction as a justifiable act of self defense?

Jesus you are dense. "her not complying" isn't the reason she was shot, the main reason was her striking an officer with her vehicle.

If she had gotten out of the van and started running she would not have been shot in that instance
If you want dense just look in a mirror. Some wrote here that her not complying justified her shooting.
Probably she wouldn't have gotten shot if she got out and ran, but it's happened before.

New video showed her not panicked and looking directly at the officer she ran over. So even that benefit of the doubt is gone

There is a whole world full of people out there who would not panic in this situation.
There is a whole world full of officers out there that would not shoot in this situation as well. Preferential treatment in distributing grace in this situation should not be only given to the officer. Both acted poorly, but only 1 is no longer here. That is what people forget.

Because one party had to use their weapon after the other used their weapon and failed to neutralize the other.

Should we be upset that we live in a world where showing up to berate law enforcement and then hitting them with your car leads to your death?
