They pick an actor to play the hero based on looks. Does that make the actor a hero? Nope. He may be the biggest piece of *** on the planet. It just means he looks right for the part, based on our human nature and instincts.

If I point that out, is it a defense or attack on the actors? Nope.

If you take issue that the MSM may be making subtle changes as "casting directors" as opposed to just reporting the facts, is that attacking the poor guy that they may not have thought looked enough like a hero? Or is it a correct criticism of the media.


Again... IF TRUE, and they actually did trade their press credentials in for casting director credits?

So I let you slide on the comment of “flesh filters” as it seemed you don’t have any idea what color filters are or what they do. But since you wrote another novel do you have any idea how a color temperature filter works? Do you understand the weights on color saturation? How about the impacts of various digital media transformations and unintended changes to color pallet and contrast histograms?

But I'll get to the root of MY issue with YOU now, as you've exceeded the level of my patience for you yet again, "Slugger".

You claim that you consider me a pretty smart guy, thus why you (think you) are "beating me up".

If you give me that much credit, one would think you'd also offer enough respect to continue that credit until it was no longer able to be extended. You could have asked for clarification. You could have allowed me to tell you up front whether you were off the plantation. But that's not what you did. You exposed what appears to be a terrible lack of reading comprehension by getting your Maxi Pad all up in a twist about what you THINK I posted and meant.

EVERY ONE of my posts on this subject have been a criticism of the MSM with the caveat that the criticisms are valid IF THEY ACTUALLY did what is claimed.

So, how about you just piss off and waste someone else's time?

I can see I need to clarify for the stupid among us. I'll happily do so.

If true, THAT'S what should get up in people's feelz when it somes to the apparently altered pictures, but not speaking to the totality of the shooting and the horribly sad fact that a fellow human who is created in the image of God was killed.

I stopped reading right there. Because frankly the cropping errors in the photos you offered up had more of an impact on any perceived face morphing than I could discern in the image itself.

So no I’m still solidly on this is a really stupid take.

ETA ok I did go read it all. About that Midol.

You’re only manipulated if you allow yourself to be. I would agree that too many folks are easily distracted by bright shiny objects and fake news. I don’t trust anybody or anything unless I see it with my own eyes and frankly don’t need the media or left wing or right wing rando’s to explain things to me.

I’m with you 100%. But it would also be nice if news sources reported news without agendas. A lot of people, maybe the majority, aren’t like you and are very trusting and believe everything they hear and see.

I’ll go piss off now and I’ll recommend you reexamine your take on feelz and midol.

I’ve got close to four decades working in video. No I don’t see any obvious morphological transformations only what likely appear to be color filter changes. I’m only referring to Pretti’s images the two Rogan images offered up I have no idea what is going on there

Yep. Good luck with that. News sources and most people on both sides are chock full of agendas and not to be taken seriously or without at least one million grains of salt.

Heard a comedian say this one time: “Only my mama loves me but she could be
bull 💩 in’ too.” Trust but verify before you believe it.
