Too much ice

Britain and France had a pact with Poland. Hitler had to know it was likely they'd declare war. He didn't want to be fighting Russia too. The non-aggression pack was for international strategy and not to buy time for domestic housekeeping.

And industrialists thrived under the Reich. Didn't Ford and Opel continue doing business in Germany during the war, because they were making money?
yes SOME industrialists did thrive, and they had to comply with the Nazi requirements, no Jews, no imports, meet quotas and so forth, or else get temporarily nationalized so that you could be given over to a Nazi corporation.

It wasn't ALL pre-Nazi-German industrialists who profited under the Nazis. it wasn't even the pre Nazi non-Jewish german industrialists who profited under the Nazis. it was the pro-Nazi industrialists who profited. the distinction on who profited wasn't industrialist/non industrialist that you would see in a corporate far right state. the distinction was Nazi/non Nazi on who profited as you would see in a socialist state- but yes not full blown communist.

the Nazis are only "far right" compared to the communists. but that doesn't actually make them far right, they are still way way way left of center.

Trump unleashes ICE on Somalis in Maine as agents go door-to-door in huge roundup: 'Operation Catch of the Day'

Donald Trump has ordered ICE agents to begin rounding up Somali migrants in Maine as part of the administration's latest immigration crackdown.

Federal agents are sweeping through the state's two largest cities, Portland and Lewiston, as the Department of Homeland Security announced 'Operation Catch of the Day' on Wednesday.

Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin announced that agents had arrested multiple individuals on the first day of the operation.

Local officials in Maine's two biggest cities are warning residents that ICE will begin ramping up its enforcement operations in the next few days.

Meanwhile, the U.S. attorney’s office in Maine warned citizens against impeding ICE agents from carrying out their operation.

Maine received thousands of asylum refugees from African countries under the Biden administration. A sizeable Somali population has existed in the state since the early 2000s.

The immigration enforcement action arriving to Maine, rural state with about 1.4 million residents, suggests the White House is doubling-down on Trump's mass deportation agenda amid widespread push back.

The Chinese were able to buy their way in because Obama made it legal. Trump has expanded that program. thats not the "win" you think it is. its still a federal move, and one Trump backs.

Did I say something about winning or losing? I'm pointing to the flaws in our immigration laws. It's exploitable and has created a weakness.

It's surprising you took my post as some type gotcha moment. It was more of how an adversary like China can infiltrate our way of life.

Portland, ME is a beautiful place. The Somalian areas are basically no-go zone shitholes. And everyone knows they've been running food stamp fraud there for decades.

This one made the news in Singapore. ICE is making us look good.
We should adopt some of Singapore's law enforcement practices. That would shut down the looney leftists' riots and temper tantrums.

Where are my freedom > security peeps?

It seems that they are claiming the authority to enter homes for illegal immigrants who have been given a final order of removal from an immigration judge. This will likely be stopped when challenged.

If there’s a final order and it’s anywhere other than the illegal immigrant's home address then they still need a warrant. It’s likely to be ruled they need an arrest warrant even if it’s the known home address.

Like I said. This falls at the first challenge

Can anyone explain how so many people from an African country on the Arabian sea end up in cold weather states?

Did they go there because they knew liberal policies in those states would allow them to get away with fraud and criminal activity?🤷‍♂️🤔

Payton v. New York (1980) is a landmark Supreme Court case that established the Fourth Amendment requires police to obtain an arrest warrant before entering a suspect's home to make a routine felony arrest, absent exigent circumstances. The ruling held that the sanctity of the home is a core protection, and a warrantless entry for arrest is a significant invasion, even with probable cause, unless there's an emergency like a fleeing suspect or danger to life/property. This decision struck down New York statutes that allowed such warrantless entries, reinforcing that an arrest warrant, plus probable cause to believe the suspect is home, is needed
