Too much ice

Masked agents of the federal government are breaking down doors without a warrant to drag old naked Americans out of their homes and into the bitter cold streets as detainees, and you dudes who cried "freedom from tyranny," and "rule of law," and "freedom over security" the most are firmly siding with tyranny.

Reports that he lives with two sex-offender ICE targets and refused to offer identification or allow facial recognition to establish his identity, even though they say he matches the description of the sex offenders. Even by the family's testimony, he was returned home when his identity and citizenship was established.

If they broke down the door illegally, they definitely need to face harsh disciplinary actions.

If true and the officers had no warrant or probable cause the local DA should be filing charges

Again, those supporting the "protests" conflate legal protesting and criminal actions
This is just this terms BLM riots or the “I have a vagina” crowd pitching a fit. They don’t give a **** about this issue. They didn’t care when their team was deporting people in mass.

If they cared their protests would be aimed at immigration reform. We’re a nation of laws. If you don’t like them then elect people to change them. Clearly electing people to ignore them backfired big time. That’s how we got Trump.

A quick study of the facts reveal ICE had two warrants for two sex offenders matching the same name and address of the vehicle owner that this guy's son was driving. They did a knock and talk on the house, and asked for this guy's photo and fingerprints because he refused to cooperate and refused to show ID.

Nobody should ever be arrested for refusing to be fingerprinted in their own home. Nor for refusing to show an ID.

It’s interesting that the people wanting to ignore immigration law suddenly have issues when law enforcement ignores them.

Maybe we should enforce the laws and hold law enforcement accountable when they break them too.

That's the problem. The Dems have alienated so many of the voting public that they've lost any political power or authority. When that happens, you're kind of just painted into the corner of causing so much chaos that you hope the public surrenders just to get some peace.

Agreed. Did they have the correct house?

Is asking for some form of identification part of those efforts?

I have no clue on what happened. They might have done everything right in this instance but if they didn't they should face the same consequences as a civilian would for kicking in a door and dragging someone out of their house.

So much would be resolved if there was always this amount of humility applied to these situations.

Agreed.
