I’m asking if you think shooting that lady was part of that department’s purview, since they are not “police”, they are customs and immigration agents.

Personally, I am less inclined to profile based on skin tone as I am based on attire, behavior, surroundings, and social factors.

I was walking to a restaurant in New Orleans and there was a modest rally in the park I planned on walking through. I wasn't close enough to know what the rally was about but once I saw the crowd and heard the enthusiasm of the speaker, I went a half block out of the way to avoid the gathering.

If I walked into a bar with a bunch of crackers sitting around and there was Nazi propaganda everywhere, I would turn around asap.

You're the one who narrowed it down to "racial profiling," but @McDad is quite right, practically every human being does it. We do it on here from experience with one another.

I profile white trash and black trash the same. The white or black doesn't matter. The trash does.

The moment she inserted herself into their business she became their "purview". When she drove her car into the agent she opened the door for him to shoot her.
