And it boils down to how one defines criminal. And that has been argued in the PF ad nauseum.

I understand what you're saying, but frankly, think the part where they are snatching and grabbing en masse without regard to anything but based on appearance is way, way overblown to point where it is farcical. Have some been improperly or unlawfully gone after? I have no doubt about it. But deal with those instances and correct/prosecute/whatever. Quit the blanket supposition it is all bad because nothing constructive is being done.

Everybody understands when they are saying they will target the criminals that they mean people who have committed crimes beyond a lack of permission to be here. If that's not what they meant then they meant to deceive.

Democrats are in panic mode bc their illegal voting base is disappearing daily.
Tom Holman reports 660K have been deported since last January. Then add on another 1.9 million illegals who have self deportations already.

i carry a picture of my passport, with my passport number clearly visible, in my phone. Don't know if that would pass muster.

I thought it was the violent criminals they specifically called out.

and to the bolded, no it doesn't. depending on the specifics of "lacking permission to be here" is a crime. when you mean "everyone" you mean "everyone who doesn't THINK its breaking the law to be here illegally" which is such a self flagulating argument.

based on interactions with ICE in the past, it wouldn't. they have rejected the real thing before and detained citizens while the situation was worked out. very little reason to accept a picture, could have been stolen, a picture taken from someone else, photoshop etc.

I didn't need to be told to vote for the most viable candidate who is not trump. I've been stating that for over 12 years now.

but trump certainly knows where the dumb vote block is......

I wouldn't expect the picture of my passport to prevent them verifying the documents. Them verifying may cause me to be delayed.

Not surprisingly, I am completely at peace that I will have zero interaction with ICE and at zero risk for detainment or deportation.

To be fair, I've heard it both ways, although those saying it was the broader meaning I did question the credibility. I think the intent was to deport everyone who broke laws and that led to the conflict with liberals. The sanctuary cities were not holding detainees they had (see the judge who helped one guy out the back door) so that was not in good faith.

So, there were ~170 cases where citizens were detained at raids and protests. Wish that no citizen was detained, but 170 citizen cases ... 660,000 deportations by ICE ... pretty good %.
